Nice and bright
Can’t rate longevity yet since we just got it, but it’s nice and bright in a 3-way lamp. Just looks better than the cheaper alternatives.

3-Way Order for the "30-70-100" Watt-Equiv version of this bulb is Med-High-Low (70-100-30)
In my lamp this 30-70-100 watt equivalent LED bulb has a brightness sequence I have not yet seen reported here - although I admit I did not read ALL 400+ reviews before doing the 'testing' of my own bulb.In my table lamp the sequence is definitely ** Med (70) - High (100) - Low (30) - Off **. It isn't all THAT easy to tell the Med from the Low in this sequence, since these brightnesses are not immediately sequential to each other in the rotation. However, when I advanced from the last (30W) click thru the "Off click" QUICKLY to the first (70W) click - it was visually apparent that the sequence of this bulb (at least in my lamp) is indeed: Med (70) - High (100) - Low (30) - Off. Big deal? Not to me once accustomed to it. As good as Low-Med-High? Not really, but this 30-70-100 bulb does have a warmer incandescent-like color than the supposed 2700 degree (Cree 30-60-100W) that is in the lamp at the opposite side of my couch. A very pleasant color temp. I can't speak to its longevity since I've only had it a week.

A little expensive, but the only 3-way LED I like so far.
As other reviewers mentioned, the power sequence is 100/150/50, not increasing in order. But I really like it this way because if you use it as a nightstand lamp, it's kind of nice to go right to the 3rd increment (which is the low light setting) & do what you need to do, then turn it off without getting blinded right before going dark. That may not sound logical, but it only takes a little getting used to & I happen to like it now. I only took a star away due to the higher price than I think it should be, but I am glad to have it.Btw, I chose the daylight spectrum of light with this bulb because I don't use it much as a low light reading lamp, but more as a bright light when looking around the bedroom. If you plan to use it more as a reading light, I'd go with the warm or soft light choices. The bulb does a good job of diffusing the light (as opposed to some LED's that almost seem light spotlights).

does not work on 3 levels in old 3-way lamp
Beware if you have an old 3-way lamp. I had to put this bulb in a rarely-used newer lamp. Color spectrum is exactly what I wanted. But GE has changed the bulb since I last bought one (from 13w #3YD6 400/840/1400 to 16w #3YD8 360/900/1400). This #3YD8 16w bulb does not work as a 3-way in my older lamp (it acts as a one-way instead). I checked the GE website and the 3-way bulb I needed is no longer available.

Great product, but beware the size and sequence
I have several lamps that use 3-way bulbs. The old incandescent bulbs never worked well; one of the filaments would always burn out. With this product, LEDs came to the rescue.I like this product. You need to be aware of 2 things:1. The bulb has plastic fins all around the glass. That makes it hard to fit into some of my lamps. I had to buy bigger harps to allow space for those fins.2. As others have said, the sequence of light is not the same as the old incandescent lamps. The older lamps went Low, Medium, High. These LED lamps go Low, High, Medium.

Saves $75/year in Energy - Everybody Happy
As an engineer, I have been desperately waiting for an LED equivalent to the 150 watt 3 way bulbs my Mom-in-Law uses at each end of her couch every day for 16 hours per day. At 22 watts for the LED vs 150 watts for incandescent, each lamp saves 128 watts which doesn't sound like much. But at 16 hours per day (and $.10/kWh), we will save $75 per year per bulb, not counting replacement costs or added A/C costs of the incandescent bulbs. After delivered (exactly when promised) I put the soft white product into table lamp at one end of sofa with 150 watt 3 way incandescent soft white at other end of sofa - wife and Mom-in-Law couldn't tell which was which. Regarding which color to order, you may not realize just how blue the daylight bulb looks. So if purchasing for residential use and you have any other incandescent lights in the house, you will probably be happier with soft white bulbs. Hope this helps.BTW, I was not compensated anything for this review.

The only three way bulb for me !
Great bulb....I took the time before ordering the bulb to read the reviews so I would know what I was getting into. It is low, high, and medium in that order. No problem. Lots of unhappy customers didn't read the reviews first. Great white light that isn't to harsh...I use it to read by, and on lower levels for room lighting. It fit easily into my three way lamp. My wife saw it and promptly claimed it as hers for her three way lamp in her bedroom she reads by. So....will have to order another. If the bulb doesn't last 10 years as stated, and is beyond normal return limits for Amazon, you'll need the bulb carton to find out how to get a refund. So, keep the carton just in case. Very, very happy with the bulb and how it works.Update: Just received the second bulb and have enclosed pics. Very good product.

LEDs ROCK!
Wow. The highest setting (2nd) is very bright and eliminates the need to turn on the ceiling fan light. And the first is soft white, perfect for checking TV list or just leaving on. The 3rd setting is between soft and high, and is comfortable for book reading. Although I've only used it a few minutes, I believe it will last as long as other LEDs. All under $7.00. Nice.Update June 22, 2020. Very impressed with the first light setting. It is halfway between a bright white and soft white, and easy on the eyes.

Love these lightbulbs
I use this lightbulb in my living room. This lightbulb lights up my entire room so I can actually see properly. It has three settings which is also nice for watching tv on a milder setting.

Working well after 5 months regular use
Arrived quickly, in fine condition. Installed in my Living Room 3 way switch lamps. The brightest light is on the second switch - the third setting is actually the dimmest. Good variety of lighting levels for me. I appreciate the energy efficiency at a considerably lower price than local stores.

Does exactly what it says it does. Has worked fine for 2 weeks now.
The bulb fits into a standard Canadian tri-light lamp base and acts exactly as an old 30/70/100 or other wattage incandescent bulb would. It has been working fine for 2 weeks now. I have other types of GE bulbs that have been working fine for over a year. (Expected life is 10 years, something like that, maybe more.)I particularly wanted this light because I wanted a tri-light where the lowest wattage was quite, dim for watching TV, dim for a late-night mood. For that 30W equivalent is better than 40W equivalent.GE's Relaxed series has a warm white light. Works fine. Good price when I got it. I'm 5 stars happy.(This review is for "GE Lighting 46226 Relax HD LED 3-Way 30/70/100-Watt Replacement A21 Light Bulb Medium Base, Title 20 ...".)

Recommended buy. If you like white light.
It took a while to arrive, but it works well and gives very white light.

Seems good quality, soft light. Very good price
I kind of like that the lowest setting is last. If the packaging matched, the bulbs would likely cost more. Like the warmish colour. Overall very good, How do we know what the energy efficiency is, or how long it will truly last? We are going by what the package says.
