Good product

I bought two of these padlocks. One of them unlocks to any fingerprint and the other doesn’t connect at all!And the App once you register the lock on it, you really have to fight with it before it lets you see the product, you click on the product and it returns you back to select it again.

As a bio-metric "smart" lock, this has done the job quite well for a few months of regular gym use. The fingerprint reader can be fussy if you have wet or dirty fingers, however that seems like a common theme for most fingerprint readers.The battery has lasted well with dozens of lock/unlock cycles and so far have not experienced any incorrect unlock attempts - it has only unlocked with known registered fingerprints.The lock itself isn't going to survive an even moderately determined thief, however for simple uses like a gym locker it does the job.The bad news... - The Android application needs FAR too many permissions with no reasonable justification for most of them. - The registration process requires sharing personal information (ie personal mobile number), but that registration doesn't give you any additional functionality. - You can only use that same, highly intrusive application to do a bluetooth unlock. Considering the questionable trustworthiness of that application and that there are no alternatives, the bluetooth unlock feature is useless.- The interface for the application isn't very nice either.Because you need to use a mobile app with the lock, two stars off for the dodgy app/permissions and the bluetooth unlock subsequently being unavailable.Improve the application and remove the outrageous permissions and perhaps it gets to 4 or 5 stars.

Does spending 10 minutes at your locker, trying unsuccessfully for this cool looking lock to read your thumb print, over and over, sound like fun? How about the associated unupdated app, constantly crashing? So much fun! Would be a very cool lock if it could actually read a stored thumb print with any degree of accuracy. Don't even bother trying with a finger print. So frustrating I could cry. Instead, this is getting angrily returned. A regular lock and you'd have your locker open in a second.

The box arrived fine... but I found it weird that the instruction was a bit crumpled. I charged the lock and downloaded the app. Created an account and then tried to add the lock. To my surprise... a message appeared that this lock was previously bound by another owner and I need to request access to the original owner. Well... that totally sucks and the lock is not usable...

A really handy small lock that's probably most suitable for gym locker or some other locker. It's quite small though as you can see in the video so won't really work on bikes. It does feel sturdy and battery seems to hold on quite well after a day and about 30 lock unlock actions the battery dropped only 1% The app doesn't look that neat but you don't really need the app other than recording fingerprints. Overall it's a small handy lock that will save you the hassle of carrying a key or remember a code.

The QR Codes item comes with were put out of sight had to disassemble box completely to get them. The item Enforces use of APP to begin unlock process thus even if you have put fingerprint into database you cannot unlock it without app (Begin unlock) and then fingerprint. (Correct me if wrong)Seems like it should've been made fully app at that point this is not useful for anyone working in Medical who have to leave phone in car or in locker and cannot carry phone with them at all times.
