Second chance romance...Enjoyable read
*REVIEWING FOR ROCK HARD ROMANCE*The second book in this series, yet could be easily followed without reading book 1.As the blurb states,Tanner and Savannah met on the first day of school, becoming best friends, and when they got older,it developed into more...teenage angst added in with some drama it ends badly...Now 10 years down the line, both have returned to their hometown, and with it a slow burn second chance romance forms, but not without some emotional moments, secrets of small town living revealed, making for some added drama on the way!I did enjoy reading this story,I liked the characters (even if at times they could have done with a good shake...misunderstandings on both sides!) there is also some funny moments, and the set up for the next in the series, makes me excited to see what will happen!

Childhood sweethearts
Another sweet story of love. This story has slightly less humour than the first in the series, but it is equally romantic. I like the wholesome way Carrie Elks builds the romantic hero and heroine. The story is not all about the sexual nature of romance, but also the emotional connection of the two lovers. I like erotic but these stories appeal to me because they are very emotive, inspiring many emotions of the reader.

Small town story with a big heart
I loved this story of Van and Tanner and didn't take long to read it. Both characters were beautifully written and the chemistry between them was fantastic. The back story of the family issues and the drive-in were perfect ways to help build up the picture for continuation of this series and I can't wait for the next book. Carrie always has a way of drawing you into the lives of her characters and this book was no exception. Thoroughly recommend this and the first book in the series.

Still the one
Loved this book so emotional aww.... and let me tell you a few surprises you'll never expect, but it was a really good page turner...one thing that annoyed me though was having to wait for the reason why the first fall out happened.xx
