These (style 3) ear pad cushions are much larger and thicker than the factory ear pads that come with the ATH-A900X headphones. The factory ear pads on my headphones became flattened and uncomfortable and these new ones are a great replacement and even better in design as the area inside the padding is wide enough and the padding is thick enough to fit fully around my ears without pushing against them in any spot as the factory ones did brand new.The material these pads are made of is very soft and comfortable and the padding itself is the perfect level of firmness, being soft enough to conform around my ears completely and firm enough to keep the headphones themselves from putting pressure on my ears.The only downside is that the material that connects the pads to the headphones is a bit shorter than the factory pads were and so the pads can occasionally slide off if you accidentally pick them up mostly by the pads or drop them or something. But it's nothing that would happen from normal usage so it's not a big problem at all; it's only happened to me a couple times in about a year.

I love my ATH A500x headphones. Been using them for at least 5 years now. I bought them because they are the most comfortable to wear for long hours while I narrate. These are much thicker and softer than the original, so they work even better. A bit of a pain to install, but any would be. once installed they stay there just fine.

These fit my Audio Technica A900 art monitor phones well. They are a bit tight to install, however fit well once installed. Much thicker and better quality than the original pads which disintegrated. The bass response returns with quality sealed pads…

Much thicker than the OE cushions, also reduces out side noise better, music is still top notch and games still sound amazing.Install is like putting a tire on a rim, start on one side and work your way around, a plastic panel tool would be helpful

These fit perfect on my 900x's. The stock pads are firm and not comfortable at all. They are thin and your ear might touch. These pads are twice as thick and are very comfortable. I got both the full leatherette and the hybrid. 100% go for the hybrid. The full leatherette starts to feel grimy against your skin after a while.

Very comfortable. Way better than the originals. They make my Audio Technica ART ATH-A700X Monitor headphones better than new. I highly recommend.
