Parker IM Fountain Pen, Red Ignite with Medium Nib, Gift Box

Parker makes a really great fountain pen! I really love it. This one is a medium nib it writes really wonderful.

This pen is truly value for money. I have been using the original ink cartridge it came with and the presumably Quink ink, flows great. The nib lets your hand almost levitate while writing.I bought a Parker piston "converter" but would really appreciate if they went back to pistons as default.It gives the customer more flexibility with regards to ink. to me this flexibility is as important as the nib quality.I have not done a detailed lifecycle analysis but it seems that pistons are more sustainable and easy to use than refill cartridges (even those cartridges that can be refilled with other inks but require detachment from the nib shaft).

The fountain pen fit the bill: reasonable cost, nice feel in the hand, and an effective writing tool. PS, Love the red and black color

I'm left handed so I ordered a medium point, they sent a nib so fine it was unusable. I use a fountain pen as a regular thing. I misplaced my favorite pen recently so I ordered this one this one to be a back up. Nothing about it worked. I was terribly disappointed.Looks like I'm going to be investing in a $150+ pen made by someone trustworthy, this ain't it.

I have used fountain pens for more than 40 years. Each fountain pen has a unique personality that is somehow symbiotically shared between the writer and the pen. Parker's Red Ignite steps up and delivers on that personality. The black barrel fades into a deep, dark read on the cap.The matte finish is the only finish that would give this pen the dangerous sophistication it exudes. When writing, the pen has a good feel in the hand with an appropriate heft that permits the writer to use the pen as a tool and extension of the hand rather than an awkward show piece that must be tamed just to salutate! The nib feels a tad stiff and it does offer an occasional strange squeak ans the nib, ink, and paper interact which will must assuredly be "written out" of the nib. The $14.99 I paid for this pen makes me feel like a thief. But every time I use my Red Ignite, I will feel, loop, and seem to the masses as and intellectual come to educate the masses. The only frustrating piece is the pen comes with only one cartridge and no converter is provided. This pen uses the international standard refill. Please do not use the Jinhau international size as it is not true international and will not go in or will mess up the pens ability to wright

Very high quality item, purchased as a replacement for a much pricier item (also a Parker) that I like to use for signing legal documents. As an everyday pen, it’s already brilliant value, but it’s a far more upmarket feel and look than you’d expect. Highly rated

Das Modell IM von Parker hat mir aufgrund der tollen Farbgestaltung sehr gefallen und ich wollte ihn für meine Sammlung daher haben. Aufgrund der bildlichen Darstellung des Füllhalters mit einem Konverter fand ich den Preis echt sehr gut. Daher habe ich die Bestellung vorgenommen.Leider war es aber nur eine Täuschung - die Box inkl. Füllhalter wurde OHNE Konverter geliefert. Klare Vorspiegelung falscher Tatsachen - daher nur ein Stern (Verkäufer bekommt auch entsprechende Bewertung)!
