It is sturdy, but will not hold position the the ball end. Because of the rubber cap, it will play back and forth quite significantly, and no amount of force will screw it down tight enough. Otherwise, fine for holding very light items.

Great Multi-Use arm!
THIS... Is a no-name 9' articulating arm that solved JUST the issue I was having. This arm is strong enough for cameras, lights, and anything that is reasonable under 5 lbs or so. It comes with all the hardware you will need to install, from the screws to the wall anchors if you aren't putting it into a stud (I didn't and also didn't use the wall anchors and sleep just fine at night) for the heavier things.This wall arm is made of plastic but is well made, and can hinge and move in just about every way possible so you can get JUST the angle you are looking for. This thread is too small for a Yeti or the like, however, with an adaptor, you can have this mount work for anything!I found this Wall Arm mount to be a great addition to my gaming setup and I am sure that it will be a nice addition to your setup as well if you give it the chance! As far as the mount goes, the only reason not to get it is if you need it to be longer than 9'" but otherwise it works great!

I tried other options with no success. These work great to hold my elgato key light and key light air stable in any position.
