DOES NOT FIT 1981-1983 Seca!
Hey! Misinformation abroad!I should have triple checked before ordering, but the 1981-1983 Maxim and Seca 750 use different calipers. This kit does not fit both bikes, although it is advertised as such. The piston dust boots are approximately 1mm too large for my 1982 XJ750R Seca, while the main piston seal does fit. These might have similar fitment issues with any XJ550, Euro model XJ750, XJ1100, or 1981 XS1100LH, as these models use the same caliper.I'm pissed because they're too inexpensive to send back (shipping = 1/3 of the cost of the item,) and I have to wait another week for small rubber parts to ride my classic bike that has been on jackstands for the last month. Thanks K&L. Thanks PeakMotoSports.

Does not come with rubber boots for slide pins.
I can't believe they don't come with the rubber boots for the pins. When they say everything needed to rebuild one caliper except the piston and spring you would think that is all the rubber parts. The rubber parts are what go bad in a caliper. Very disappointed! I think this kit is incomplete. IMO..

... couple of square cut o rings it worked just fine.
while the kit seems a bit expensive 15 bucks for a couple of square cut o rings it worked just fine.

Good kit
The seals work perfectly. Wish it came with the rubber boots for the slider though.

Even less
I guess they have different versions of these, mine didn't even have the rubber bushings. See images and notice differences. The seller needs to update their image and/or at least description to let you know exactly what you're going to get.

worked great
It took more time and work than I had imagined but I rebuilt my calipers. The seals that I purchased were exactly what I needed, arrived quickly and were at a great price.

no dust boot included
Does not contain dust boot, which i would think should be replaced when you reassemble it the brake caliper, don't you?
