MARLOWE. Travel Soap Holder | Portable Bar Soap Case | No-Leak Zipper Container

I have had plastic clam-shell soap containers that worked, but often didn't hold up to being tossed in a toiletry bag and tossed in luggage for very long. Usually, the plastic wore out and it wouldn't stay closed properly.Enter the zipper: fairly hard to have it magically open, it tends to keep things situated well. Job well done.This soap holder also can hold some pretty hefty bars without an issue. The bar shown in the picture is ~4" long x 2.5" wide x 1.25" deep and it can hold it just fine with a little room to spare. The benefit of the soft plastic-y material used is that it won't take up extra space than the bar inside and when empty, it folds fairly flat. That also means that if you don't have a rectangular bar, such as those by Dove or other such bars with contours, the holder will tend to accommodate the size and shape just fine.One downside about the material is that it is semi-transparent, so soap residue on the inside makes it look grimy from the outside. The picture shows what it looks like after having a charcoal bar soap used in it for a while - some black residues show through.However, since it is designed for wet bars of soap to be in it, you can just rinse it out and it will be fine again.I figure the housing will eventually age into cracking or the zipper, which seems smooth and reliable after months of use, will eventually start to fail, but I suspect this has years left in it and doesn't cost a lot to replace.

Honestly, it’s a pain to try and unzip the zipper while you’re in the middle of your shower because it’s slippery and the zipper bunches up and makes it harder to unzip. Never noticed any leakage after I’m done and zip the soap bar back up. Super packable and a good choice if you have limited space in your hygiene kit or carry on luggage. It’s decent.

As a college student using a shower caddy, this is a MUST as it prevents any mess as no soap leaks out with the sturdy zipper. Better than a plastic case as I’ve had those lids pop off too many times which is prevented with the zipper.

I saw this and thought it would be good to put my face soap inside, and easily fit within the small spaces of my luggage. It does. It's a flexible container, with a pretty sturdy zipper. Don't know that I would ever put a wet bar of soap inside and immediately start travelling, but it works for transporting my face soap. A little pricey, but if it continues to hold up, then it's worth the light weight and flexibility in making it fit easier than a hard back case. I can recommend the item.

Great soap travel case! I have never thought to use one of these, but this is the perfect compliment to my Marlow soap that I know use in place of the overly perfumed hotel soaps. This case is a great way to bring a little home with me when I am on the road. Very happy with it!
