So far so good but could be brighter
The install was a little bit complicated at first but after doing one side of the car the other side was pretty straight forward. The bulbs seem to fit very well and are well made , they are a little bit brighter than the factory bulbs ( wish they were brighter ) but they have a nice crisp look to them which takes that factory yellowed and aged look away from the fogs which is what I was looking for .Will Update on the longevity part in time to come .

Good Light
The light works great but you cannot adjust the bulb correctly. In a headlight assembly, the diodes in a led bulb has to face the 3 and 9 o’clock positions to emit light properly and this bulb did not have an adjustment option. (The notches on the bulb base were 90 degrees off) The manufacturer did say to contact them if there are any issues but I just decided to modify the bulb by adding notches with a Dremel and they work fine now.

Important information for "boondocking" campers....
Ok. Lets start with the installation....These h3 led lights are a bit larger in diameter than a standard h3 bulb. I used a dremel with a small sanding drum to make the square hole a little bigger in my light housing. Other than that, it is a straight forward install. Some information about its usage... The led bulb is roughly as bright as the h3 35 watt halogen docking light that it replaced in my lance cab over camper. I did a test with a true rms multimeter and found the led bulb was very efficient with it's power consumption. The standard halogen h3 14 volt 35 watt lamp used 2.361 amps when lit. The Beamtech h3 led lamp only used .331 amps! This is a savings of 2.03 amps per bulb! For those that are mindful of their battery usage in their campers understand that the less amp draw equates to less times required to charge their camper batteries. I haven't had them but for a day, so I will review them again (for longevity) at a later date. First impression....I like the white light they produce and the efficiency...so far, so good.

Do not use in a projector type lens
I bought these for my 2000 f150 4x4. I have mounted a set of projector style bmw fog lights in place of the stock fog lamps, but these bulbs do not disperse light correctly for a projector type lens. They look nice, and have a crisp white color, but the light output is very minimal. In this case, the halos that go around the fog light itself are brighter than the output of the fog lamps. The bulb is a prong style and the diodes are on either side of the bulb, so they do not emit light in all directions. I think if you installed these in a reflector housing they would work much better. I have no complaints about the quality of the bulbs, and I will more than likely just keep them where they are for now because they do have a nice look to them. Just make sure you install them in the correct type housing and this is not a bad buy. 5/5 stars because the issue that I have with the bulbs is entirely my fault and has nothing to do with the quality of the bulbs or the seller.
