McDavid Youth Chest Protector Baseball Heart Guard Sternum Protection Compression Shirt. HEX Padded Shirt

This McDavid chess guard is our favorite. My son has been wearing this model of chest guard since Tball and now through adult sizes as a teenager. It is very comfortable, breathable, and offers nice protection. He likes it is sleeveless for the hot summer months. It fits well under a shirt and is comfortable.I believe this is the fifth size of this Model of shirt that we have purchased throughout the years. He also owns the exact same shirt in black. I definitely would purchase again and have!

My son loves the McDavid chest protectors. He says they are the most comfortable. They wash well and the padding does not get messed up like some other brands we have tried. My son likes the camo pattern on this one and it works well under his white jersey.

Fits well on my teenager. A little long, but it has some room to grow into.

Decent quality but sizes are smaller than advertised. I will not be a repeat customer.

Needed to purchase a larger size as my son has outgrown his previous one. Was pleasantly surprised to see this cheaper - almost $20 - here as opposed to Dick's Sporting Goods. Having owned this exact brand previously, it lasted over two years with heavy use and constant machine wash. It is light weight, not itchy in anyway (no tag), and doesn't restrict movement. At just over $20 for an item that is a requirement in some leagues, this is a great deal on a high-quality piece of protective equipment.

Definitely a must have for youth baseball. Very comfortable, doesn’t stick when it’s hot out and most importantly it protects our kids from a hard ball to the chest/heart.

Light weight, pad for chest is thick and comfortable

At the moment I can only attest to the fit. Bought this for my daughter to wear while pitching. She says it's comfortable and not too bulky. Didn't affect her pitching or batting. It fits as expected. We bought the youth small. My daughter is 9 years old, approx 50 lbs, and normally wears a size 6x/7 top. The youth small fits her perfectly, snug as expected, but not too tight, and just barely comes above the neckline of her jersey. She'll likely be able to wear it for 2 seasons. Can't say anything about the protection just yet as she hasn't taken a ball to the chest while wearing it. Not that I'm complaining. :)Update: 9/26/16 - She's been wearing this chest guard for a year now. She still loves it and wants to wear it anytime she is playing. Even if she's not pitching. She took a line drive back at her on the mound this weekend that hit her wrist/forearm and bounced up into her chest. Only her wrist/forearm hurt. No chest pain or issues at all. It's held up being washed many times and still in good condition. She's now 10 years old, weighs 59lbs, wears a size 7/8 top, and the Hex shirt size Small still fits her just fine. Updated picture (gray shirt) shows her wearing it now. Picture with green shirt was last year. Still very happy with this shirt.

Works great, it is cool and dry. I bought this for basketball. In defence I have to use my chest against their shoulder attack because some referees call a foul for using my arm. Even though I wear it under uniform still cool and dry. Also comfortable to move. If there is another color like black, I want it.

I bought this size L and M. I am 168cm 62kg man. For me size L fits better. I usually wear US size S for usual clothing. I must say this is a tight fit. I don't feel too much tight with size M, however when I got sweat it's taking more time to dry as it's less breathing compared to size L.
