Q: The amazon prime option for this costume, shows to be in a "standard" size. Doesn't say medium or large - just standard. Can someone explain?

Standard is their "one size fits all" version...if you are not extra large. It should be good for Medium/Large people. I ordered both and returned the Standard one cause I'm a bit bigger, around 220lbs, 44in chest, and the Standard was OK but snug.

This runs small. You should get the largest available. My husband (6'2", 220 lbs, 38" waist) just fit into the XL.

It fits an average size person. If you are overweight it might feel tight.

Q: What size is the standard? It's only $12 so I'm worried it's a goofy size.

I'm a 5'10 male about 175 lbs and the standard size fit me perfectly. It's pretty stretchy so I'm sure it could be used for people bigger or smaller. I highly recommend not using the "undershirt/bib" it comes with and wearing your own white dress shirt and tie.
