We purchased this November of 2023. It lasted until today, February 10, 2025. So a good 16 months. Worked fantastically. It builds up calcium deposits like crazy on the inside despite emptying the water every day and never running it dry. But today, no notice, nothing weird beforehand, it just stopped heating abruptly.For those who don't understand the button on the side, it's a reset button which it says in HUGE letters. It's also in the manual. If you can't get it working, take the black cap off and a pin will be sticking out of the white base. Push the pin flat with the white base and it's like a breaker reset. Replace the cap and it will usually turn on. They send it "tripped" so it can't somehow magically short in the box. You have to untrip it to start it..which it says in the manual.I'm disappointed that it only lasted 16 months (of DAILY use), but still some of the reviews are unfair.

Works great, built solid. Heating control works good. Only issue is the heating element screw started rusting in water. Replaced the screw with stainless steel.

We went to use it for the first time & it doesn't work. It's past the return date, so we are stuck with it. Such a bummer.

Supposed to be commercial grade. Heating element blew out, exposing coil. Total shock hazard!

Received and tried to decipher instructions. I own a restaurant, so I'm not a stranger to steam tables or warmers. This thing is weird. Exposed burners that make you Leary about dumping water into the well and a side button that still, is a sort of mystery. The dial turns down, but doesn't turn the unit off. It was not consistent in its warming. The pants/ lids were nice, but that's about it. I sent it back.

About this in September used it about five times before it stopped working

Ordered last October, 2022. Lasted until September 4, 2023.Commercial kitchen use, 7 hours per day. Almost daily but not quite. Expected it to last longer.
