Hello! I’ve become truly addicted to this product. I originally bought it for a cold, but now I use it whenever my head gets even a little hot. When I’m dealing with something stressful at work or catching a cold, my head tends to heat up a lot. This product gives an immediate cooling effect when I apply it. I have a thermometer at home, so I measured the surface temperature of my forehead. Before applying it, it was 35.3°C (95.54°F), and after about 3 minutes, it dropped to 30.9°C (87.62°F). Although the cooling effect doesn't last 6-8 hours and fades quickly when the heat is too intense, it really stays cool for about 1-2 hours. It’s especially helpful for migraines or when your eyes feel hot from a cold—it makes a huge difference!

Got these for help keeping cool while working outside during extreme temperatures. I am female so I put them on my back between my shoulders and my sports bras help keep them attached even when I sweat. I have scoliosis so the placement also helps with my back pain and then I do not have to worry about the smell and no one can tell it is there either. It takes about 10 minutes to kick in but it does work really well for 3-4 hours but then either my skin gets used to the temperature or it slows down and is not as cool as before but I keep them on as long as possible to help prevent heat exhaustion. Definitely makes tolerating high temperatures more bearable. I do live in the desert so it is very dry here and I am not sure how it would work in a more humid environment where sweat doesn't evaporate as fast. Nice little individual packets as well!

I am doomed to premature menopause thanks to hormonally driven cancer. As such, I frequently have intense hot flashes. I frequently carry around a neck fan or a silk hand fan but those don’t always stop a flash in its tracks, and disposable ice packs, while efficient, are heavy when you carry multiples. Enter the cooling patch. I stuck one to the back of my neck or the center of my chest. The liquid gel cools on contact and the menthol sustains the cooling sensation. I don’t love the eucalyptus scent, but I don’t mind smelling like eucalyptus if it means the hot flash ends quickly.

Doesn’t stick as well as I would have hoped but it does cool you off when needed.

This product is a lifesaver! Before I purchased the cooling patches, my wife and I would stay up for hours trying to cool our son's fever in various ways. Cloths, Ice, Ice cream, etc., would help, but it would either end up messy or last only briefly. I did some research and came across these patches and decided to try them out. The first night I tried them, my son had a fever of 101 degrees and was miserable, so I popped them on, and immediately he calmed him down. Cold for a second, but he fell asleep when he got used to it. We stayed up all night to monitor, but it controlled his fever. The only thing I dislike is that they fall off before the patch is used up, but other than that, they are amazing. Thank you!

This product feels cool to the touch at first, and leaves a menthol feeling when you remove the patch, but that's it. As somebody who is ALWAYS too hot, I had high hopes that maybe this would give me a modicum of coolness when I'm outside or doing pilates or something. My overheated body can tell you that those hopes were woefully unmet. It can have a very mildly cooling effect on itchy bug bites, but even that is extremely short-lived and disappointing. Overall I would recommend these to people in very cold climates; maybe it will do a better job of warming them than it did of cooling me.

They worked a little keeping me cool. But airport security didn’t like them. They searched my suitcase only to find these patches. Then I was on my way.

Just buy these to have on hand! Trust me, as a Mother of 4, you’re going to want them! My 3yo daughter is still cutting her molars so she will randomly have days where she is super hot and feverish and I pop one of these on her forehead and she loves it! She’s slept all the way through the night with it on, which is amazing given the fact that my kids usually won’t ever keep an ice pack on their skin for more than the 15 seconds I try to hold it down on them before they can escape! Ha!I also used these on my 9mo old after he took a big topple. He somehow didn’t grab it off! If I kept him distracted he forgot about it.I’ve even used these on myself when I got a burn on my arm! It worked wonders. The burn hurt when I took it off but didn’t hardly when it was on.I purchased another more expensive brand with Mickey on them and this is comparable but a lower price so I’ll just be buying these from now on. LOVE!!
