Clean lines, watering hole could be a little larger
I like the look of this planter a lot. I put a wandering jew in it, and seems very happy in the pot. The only thing I don't like about it is that the little hole where you add the water is very small. I've got one of those one-gallon plastic watering cans with a thin tapered spout, and it's a little too large for the hole, so I have to be careful filling it. Other than that, I love it.

My cuttings survived vacation.
So glad I got this. Friends told me about this right before going on vacation and it saved my of my cuttings. I had about 20 cuttings I didn't know what I was going to do with over vacation. Got this little sucker and it stayed moist the entire week. I watered the soil well then poured water in the bottom till it couldn't take any more and it did wonderfully!!! I highly recommend this.

Great box with only one flaw...
The watering hole is a little small. I can not see the water level, so I spill water every time filling it up. Other than that it has held up well and looks good.

Self-watering planter
I purchased these planters to put in my long picture window box so that the plants would stay hydrated during my frequent summer absences. I love them.

One Star
Planter I received was DARK GREEN in color not the Aqua Green pictured.

not a light sage green like in the photo
Sigh. Firstly, the green in the photo is nowhere close to the green that this planter actually is. It's a dark forest green, not a light sage green like in the photo. That was really disappointing, as I ordered this planter specifically for the color of it. So, not happy with that.Secondly, it STINKS like chemical fertilizer. I am a chemically sensitive human and one of the reasons I order almost everything from Amazon is I literally cannot go into big box stores and their garden sections that smell like chemicals. So I ordered this thinking it was coming from a warehouse somewhere, not a garden center where it had been sitting soaking up chemical fertilizer smell. I was REALLY not happy with that.I let it sit outside in the sun and rain for several days to get the stink down, and hopefully I finally did and the smell won't return, because I am not lying when I say that strong chemical odors can literally put me in the hospital ER. I know I am rare in that way, but I also know that I'm not the only one who prefers that things don't have chemical stink on them.As far as durability, we shall see. I'll update if anything changes there. I used this to plant my kitchen herb garden in, and it's the perfect size and shape for having in my kitchen window, so that pleases me (which is why I ordered this one). I attached a photo so you can see the true color.

Good planter
Great pot, not as deep as I would have liked, but works perfectly for the amaryllis bulbs. Love that these pots are USA made and are thick and sturdy.

No disappointment here
Terrific for my small succulents. They won't "drown" but get a small amount of moisture from the bottom tray.
