Perfect fit inside OEM FJ40 Struts Replacing Worn Springs
These replace the worn springs on the rear door struts for the Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser. You have to do a simple modification to get them to work, but it's not hard.

bought these to replace fj40 lift gate springs
these fit inside fj40 stock lift struts which use a spring inside. you do have to modify the ends on them to get these to fit. You can sand/grind down the ends or just take them off. It doesn't lift to the full height if you remove them though. You also have to round the plastic ends out a bit but they work great.

Not as heavy duty as oem but they fit well. For my application (rear glass on YJ Wrangler) they would not hold glass all the way up as oem had. Still say for the money they seem like they work well.
