Elevate by Andis 80285 Professional Tourmaline Ionic 1875 Watts Hair Dryer

This dryer was purchased to replace the same make as the one we had before. The old one finally died. This dryer dries hair much faster than conventional dryers. It is easy to handle and works well. There was something about the design and controls on the older model that seemed more user friendly than this new one but that is a just a small thing that took some getting used to. Overall we are pleased with this purchase.

I just bought one of these as a gift for someone that wanted a hairdryer. I bought one 3 years ago to use in my salon. I love it, although it is loud. I don't like using the other girls' dryers because they seem to have little power compared to mine. A girl that comes into my salon to see her mother (another stylist working) told me that she loves using my dryer.

Too loud compared to others.

It's heavier than I expected. Does put out heat and air. I thought I would like the attachments but have not been able to use them to my hair's benefit. I wish it were smaller and lighter.

After owning 2 other Andis dryers I got this one.It looks nice and its lightweight but its loud and doesn't get real hot,even on high.It has a high and Low setting-the low is weak and the high blows too hard.This blow dryer was a big bummer.
