You can tell the difference within a day
The media could not be loaded. I bought this air purifier to clean the air in my flat.i am an Asthma sufferer and have carpets and have just recently cleared up some mould left behind by the cold wet winter.I also have a baby who's suffering from allergy related breathing issues.Originally wanted to just get a dehumidifier but then decided to also try an air purifier. The H13 HEPA True filter means this gives you that extra protection against the smallest of particles and nasty little critters like bacterias and viruses. It's quite a large machine which gives me confidence it can handle a large room easily.Set up was super easy and the instruction manual crystal clear. The ability to control it from the living room is perfect as we can switch it on a couple of hours before we head to bed and whilst baby/toddler is not anywhere close to poke and play with it.Child-lock is a must have and means my little one won't constantly prod hoping for beeps and sounds - as they do. It shows a red light for poor quality air and a green light for clean air which is a nice indicator.

Emitting gross and toxic plastic smell
I can’t understand why people might recommend this because consider this: besides the fact that the app doesn’t work (you can’t turn off the LED light nor use other functions within the app) - when I first started using it it just emitted disgusting plastic smell to the point it made me dizzy and sick. I immediately turned it off and after an hour of ventilating I felt much better.Imagine how toxic it must be.And yes, I took the filter out the plastic sheet.I just can’t recommend it and would go for a more expensive but safe product.

OK product let down by poor software
The A8 is fairly quiet when the very bright green LEDs are on. Pretty loud when in red mode but that's understandable as it's removing harmful particles.Main issue I have is the software is poor. No air quality analysis, other than green is good. Red is bad. Beep is also super loud and doesn't remember your preferences so can't be muted permanently. They also removed my working access to their Proscenic Home app and forced me onto their 'new' Proscenic app which is even worse. The sign up process won't accept UK so you need to login via Germany and then Google Home fails to see the product which was working via the old app. Support have told me I need to link to Google service called Tuya.If I link Tuya then it sees no devices so as of 28/09 Google Home no longer works.Support have just asked me for my username and password in order to troubleshoot.Wow.

Good unit but lacks spare filters
This air purifier seems to be really good quality, especially for the money. There are lights along the bottom which show you the current air quality (you can turn these off if you do wish) and you can set timers and schedules etc.The app is really easy to use and a simple layout. The only things that go against it are; The price and availability of replacement filters! I haven't been able to find any in stock yet but they seem to be around £45.... the whole machine was only £50 so not great sense to buy replacement filters. The app is unable to link in with Google home, it says it is but it won't do it.Not a deal brake but would have been nice to do it.Overall, the machine is pretty decent, it's quiet but worth nothing, it's a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be.This would be a winner if the filters were in stock and a lot cheaper...

Big, but its made a difference.
I didn't really check the dimensions of it & just expected it to sit on a table but found it's more scaled to sit on the floor.Which was fine, firing it up and connecting to my WiFi it didn't take long for Alexa to work - personally renamed it to "Filter" for ease of commands & reducing errors. The most noticeable thing to me is I used to wipe over my black glass TV stand every other day as the dust build up was ridiculous but with this placed next to it I've only had to wipe it once a week & I'm sure dust in general has been reduced. The air quality sensor seems to work, as leaving it on Auto I've found if anyone spares deodorant etc in other rooms it doesn't take long for the light to turn yellow and fan ramp up.All in all, for the money I'm very very happy with it & the size of the filter inside is huge I'm sure it'll be prolonged a few times before replacement & in fairness at the size of it the cost of the replacement filter is quite justified.

No filters
It has already been said but worth repeating again. The unit works well and its price tag makes it a bargain. Right?WRONG, replacement filters are NEVER to be found ANYWHERE on the web. And should the miracle happen and you do find them they cost £35.Stick to British or EU brands and research filter availability before purchasing a Air Purifier.Avoid this Trojan Horse like the plague.

Modern and effective purifier
I live in an old damp building and the quality of the air isn't that great, when waking up in the past my partner and I would both feel a bit stuffy but since investing in this air purifier the quality of our sleep has greatly increased.Even on medium settings the purifier effectively filters bad odours - we also use it in the kitchen when smoking, the noise levels emitted are tolerable and only on the maximum setting did I notice them.Very modern looking piece of equipment which doesn't overly stand out in the room, excellent price/performance ratio.

I recommend
Since having our house extended whilst still living in it we were effectively living on a building site for a year and a half. Although the extension part of the house has a freshness to it, for our peace of mind we wanted to ensure that the quality of air lives up to the fresh outdoors. We believe that this air purifier is helping with that.It is a solid well-constructed unit. It can be worked with a timer and schedules can be set and because it is a smart device, it can be controlled by app. The integration with Alexa is seamless and it works very well. Overall, we are very happy with it.
