Very educational game that stimulates learning and conversation!
This Dino Game by Tookky is very educational and engaging for families. You and your child will learn a lot from the information in this game. I have a 3 and 1 year old. My one year old obviously is too little for me to read something to him and him retain it and remember it, but my three year old remembered more than I thought. The method of playing this game is to read the section of information in the eBook regarding your dinosaur. Everyone reads their section and then they answer questions regarding their dino. For each correct answer, they advance to a new square on the game board.Because of the in-depth educational content in the eBook, I would recommend 7-9 year olds to play this and get the most out of it. I can play it with my 3 year old but I ask him the easiest questions or I amend them and ask my own. I also admire that this game is very engaging, and stimulates conversation within our family. My son is liking learning about carnivores vs. herbivores because of this game! The actual dinosaur game pieces are high quality as well; sturdy construction and well-made. The game board arrived in pristine condition as well. It is thick cardboard like every other board game, but was fresh and unblemished-no bent edges or dented sections. It's also nice to have a game that has large pieces-no chance of choking or losing them!

The dinosaur figures were great, though
Too difficult to get the link from the company for the ebook to play the game. The dinosaur figures were great, though.

With some amending to the instructions and game board this game will be good for your dino enthusiast!
WinMarketing Dinosaur Game has great potential, but in it's current state it leaves a lot of questions. The directions say, that you read the story in your e-book about the dinosaur you have chosen. Then you ask the trivia questions, if right you move up one, if not you move back one. There are 10 spaces you are trying to accomplish to win, but when you land on the 10th space it says "Just one more" which is confusing. Even with just 10 spaces, if you miss one trivia question how do you advance? It allows the other players to answer other player's questions, but only for score points. You will need to make a score list and this is only used if there is a tie. "The ultimate winner is the player that got the higher score." What makes more since is when a player does not get the answer correct it becomes an "all play" and whoever gets the answer correct the fastest gets to advance a space. Unless you've played the game a number of times, then you will get at least one trivia question incorrect. My husband, 7 year old and 5 year old were my opponents. They chose their dinosaurs and places them at the starting space. The dinos are too big for the spaces. I opened the application to the e-book and began reading. My kids started to listen, but by the second paragraph about their dino they had lost interest and I was unable to regain their focus. Another thing, that may be difficult for some is that the dinosaurs are not labeled. The illustrations on the board game and the e-book do not resemble the toy dino. The colors are not even the same. Most of these dinosaurs are very distinctive looking, so that really doesn't matter, except for the Brachiosaurus and the Apatasaurus. The only way to determine which is which is by reading the story and learning one has a hump above the nose. Then you will have to look closely at the figures to see the hump. The game is fact trivia, so the questions will be "How many pounds can (Dinosaur) eat?" You will have to now the exact number to advance. Since my 7 and 5 year old had already lost interest in my reading they did not know the answer. I would like to suggest that there be an actual book and not just the e-book. Simply due to the fact that not all kids have a smartphone/ tablet available when playing without an adult. Also, to receive the e-book you must subscribe to their website, confirm that it is your actual email address and after confirmation the e-book is sent.Overall:*There are 10 questions to answer, but 11 spaces to win. The 10th space says "Just one more".*Instructions do not address how you win if you get one of your trivia questions wrong.*Dinosaurs do not fit in the spaces*Dinosaurs are not labeled and do not resemble the illustrations.*Not all the dinosaurs can stand up firmly.* You have to subscribe to their website to receive e-bookWith a little amending to the game board and instructions this will be a pretty good game for your dinosaur-entusiast! Currently, I feel that it needs some work. Given sample to test and return my personal honest opinion.

Very fun and colorful play set for little kids.
This is a fun set of toys for little kids who love dinos. The learning curve is not steep and my five year old was able to play without problems. The set is colorful and jovial. The dinos did have a detectable smell, so I soaked it in water for a day with soap and the smell was gone.A sample was provided for review.
