Gents Blue Dial Analogue Chronograph Watch with Silver Stainless Steel Bracelet 7024

I needed a watch when my older Accurist went in to be fixed, and the price quoted was £50. I expected this to be similar, but it isn't. The chronograph functions don't work, and the strap is cheaply and roughly finished. I can't decide whether to send it back, or enjoy smashing it with a hammer.If this is a typical Accurist product these days, then they are finished as a company. I've had better finished products that are fakes.

Ok so I sent the watch back for a refund on day two (no problem, thanks Amazon and partners) as the watch kept stopping intermittently however going by the mass of 5 star reviews I'm assuming this was down to bad luck and I wanted to focus on the aesthetics of the watch I experienced for the short time I had it. The casing and strap are of excellent quality with no rough cheap edges. The watch looks and feels great and expensive. I have knocked one star off for the following. The bezel (whilst working fine) is a little awkward to set as the edges are so rounded it's hard to get a good grip. The only truly disappointing feature for me was that the watch face, whilst looking great, is so shiny that you frequently have to angle the watch to see the time for the light glare. I should point out I do not have 20:20 vision. That aside, at a sub £50 price, a real bargain.

OK really nice watch, waited a while before writing this to see how good a timekeeper it is and can honestly say it is excellent at doing its job.Nice looking watch all functions work, bevel on face rotates anti clockwise, say this as someone said it does not rotate, bracelet goes nicely with watch and is adjustable also has an anti snag cover over clip which is a good idea.Few say its heavy, yes a little but than I suspect most watches of this type are, regardless of make, seems a good solid watch by a trusted producer, no complaint, good price for such a nice watch.

I actually got this watch as my automatic is away for 2 months for a service. My old accurists battery was dead so local repair place wanted £25. I thought for the price and a years warranty as well as being much nicer watch this would be better.My son needs a dress watch so he liked it too so when my watch is back he can have it.I am so impressed it keeps good time and looks a lot more expensive than it is. Few people have commented it's a nice watch.

Watch looks good and appears to keep good time. The supplier sent this on time. It was packed safely and well padded. I had have the strap reduced as expected. The only reason I have not given it 5 stars is because the inside of the strap is not really smooth, and you can feel it against my skin. Other cheaper and not as prestigious watches that I own have smoothed the inside so feel much more comfortable. I feel that the finishing off of the bracelet needs to be better.
