Meditub walk-in bathtubs are designed for accessible independent bathing. The Meditub 29x52 walk in tub features Meditub' s knee cutaway technology. The door can be placed on the right or left side and has a knee cutaway so that the bather can open and close the door while seated in the 17" ADA compliant contoured seat. This walk in tub is perfect for new construction and/or retro fitting because of its industry standard size. This walk in tub is available with a right or left inward swinging door and is constructed from heavy duty reinforced fiberglass with a gel coat finish. It’s equipped with an ADA Compliant 17-Inch contoured seat providing ultimate comfort. This 29x52 walk in tub includes adjustable feet for easy installation and leveling. The premium air system comes with (16) advanced warm air bubble massage jets and is adjustable up to three speeds. The air system is assembled with self cleaning features and also includes a free 300 watt internal heater, rated at 15-Amp 120-Volt AC, 1 Nema plug. Air Switch finger tip touch controls make adjusting water flow and jet options as easy as touching a button. The tub is equipped with a standard drain system which usually takes 2-3 minutes to dispose water from the tub. A 8-Inch extension kit is included with this unit. The extension kit is a set of panels included to extend the bathtub if necessary to fit a standard 60-Inch tub stall. The panel installs quickly and eliminates the gap between the bathtub and wall. The tub includes access panels which are conveniently located on the entrance side, allowing users and installers to easily access the unit's electrical and plumbing connections. Access panels are attached to walk-in unit's frames by magnets, enabling fast and easy placement. Upon installation the tub requires a dedicated 20-Amp circuits on GFI.
