Brabantia105463 Bra wash bag, ys/m, White

I bought this item to prolong the life of my expensive bras. On the first use, I washed a brand new bra (cream one) that had been worn for a while to break it in, larger size ladies will know what I mean. This bra cost me the best part of £40!!! I also put another bra in with it, which cost me a similar amount, the second bra (purple one) I've had for the best part of 8 years and have never put it in a protector to wash it. However, after one simple wash, half load, regular spin, they have BOTH managed to get extremely damaged and the DURABLE bag now has a hole in it. To say I am FURIOUS is an understatement. When I received the wash bag it said it had a warranty on the package, well this best be true, and best cover the cost of bras that have been ruined beyond repair.

This is quite surreal, I have never felt the need to protect my bras in the past but it just so happens that I recently treated myself to some rather expensive Bras. Wanting to prolong the life of these Bras, I did some research and discovered this product. Now if the Bras weren't so expensive, this would be almost laughable... The first wash ABSOLUTELY DESTROYED my bra AND the so called "protective" wash bag!!!Is this some kind of sick joke? I have never ever had this happen to any of my bras in the wash, but the one time I decide to take extra care this happens! Now I am left out of pocket.

I've used these for years and always been very pleased with them, they keep my dedicates safe from pulls, tears and becoming misshapen in the washing machine. I recently replaced them as my old ones had lost some life respectably from old age but the new one has been appalling. It came out a normal 40 degree wash with a gaping hole! Such a shame as the sizing was perfect for my DD bras and felt like there were made of good quality material. It might just be a one off, but not impressed.

Loved this product when I first used it. Used now about 10 times since purchase. Today.. big design flaw that has ruined the bag, my machine and my clothes.I bought the bag to protect bras.. particularly as we have wired ones. I know that these can damage other washing.. hence me being prudent buying a protective bag.Unfortunately.. the bag itself has a plastic wire running around the circumference at the top and bottom.. similar to the bra wire!This has come out of the bag slightly during the wash.. and has engraved itself into the door of my washing machine. Spinning at 1400rpm it heated up and sharp pieces of the plastic have littered my washing. Clothes have holes.. or covered in tiny sharp pieces of plastic.. the drum has pieces underneath it.. I can hear them when I manually spin it.. the rubber on the door seal is also torn. The bag is destroyed.. and did exactly the opposite of what it was designed to do! Why on earth it needs a plastic wire around the rims of each circle beats me.This inexpensive bag has now cost me many pounds.. New clothes needed, damaged machine.. so so cross. Product needs to be withdrawn from sale and redesigned.

I paid extra for this brand as I expected it to be more durable but I was sadly mistaken. It fitted my bras fine and was also useful for washing tights, face masks and other small items but it ripped in 4 different places on the 3rd use and just kept getting worse to the point that nothing other than the bra's stayed in it through the wash (and even that was only barely!). Very disappointed in this and glad I only bought 1 of them, total waste of money, better off using a pillow case!
