Solidly built light
Full disclosure--ARB already has a lot of my money. I've used their recovery gear, bumpers, compressors and fridges for years. Their stuff works, but I was very skeptical of this light. I think they tried this idea some time ago and it was a flop because it was a corded light that produced marginal light output. I don't know, I never owed one. The previous model aside, this looks just like the $12 light that they sell in auto parts stores and I was afraid that I was going to part with $75 for a cheap light with ARB branding. This sat in my wish list for a long time and it took a beer too many one night to liberate it but it's worth every penny. Mine showed up in a well-built package with a foam liner and cutouts for the chargers and the light. I'm typically not impressed by packaging but I'm still staring at it trying to figure out if I'm supposed to throw it out or use it to store the light. The light feels solid in my hand and produces a clean flood beam. The magnet is strong even through the rubber covering and clings well to even vertical metal surfaces. The orange hooks in the back are well built with no play in their connections to the light, but if there was a breaking point on the light I'd imagine this was it. Once they're tucked away, they're very secure and you'd have a hard time breaking them in the stored position.I'll update as I get this thing under a vehicle or two to see how well it works around the dirt, grease and rust.

Strong reliable light
You can find brighter lights and lights that have a longer battery life but, you won’t find many that do both well and take a lot of abuse. Like all ARB products, this light is rugged. I love the magnet on the back and the integrated hanger. I use it around camp, hang it in the engine bay, magnet it to the frame during repairs, etc.Solid purchase.

No excuses now, you can finish the project at night
Used and abused through housing renovations, car repair projects, camping, and search and rescue. These are a MUST for any guy's kit. They're my go to gift for friends and family. Everyone loves the versatility and reliability of these lights.

It can be improved.
It is very bright. It should have come with the pouch to carry the charger cable. It could bend in different angles so could be easier to use as search light or indoor, outdoor and camping light. Also, it could come with standard USB cable and larger battery life or interchangeable battery for longer hour use.

Your new fav flashlight
I bought this for four wheeling, camping and working under my Grand Cherokee. Its been great but it gets pulled in to almost every home repair. So far its a solid unit under the car, in the garage and around the house. Hook options as well as magnetic mounting. I haven't used the 12v charger but that is a great option I'll explore on our next camping adventure.
