KANTHALHigh Temperature 11 Gauge Wire For a Variety Of Craft Applications (Pkg/5 Ft)

I used these to make my own bead rack. I cut them in half and fired to cone 06 with no issues. No slumping noted. Since these were 11 gauge it allowed for smaller holed beads to be fired. Most commercial bead racks are gauge 9.

This works great for kiln fired glass plant stakes. The wire turns dark during firing but is easily cleaned with steel wool. Holds the weight of the glass well--sturdy and straight.

Worked well on a bead rack in high temp kiln, did not bend.

I expected them to be a little more bendable, but still a good product so far. I haven’t put them in my kiln yet to see how they respond to heat.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Ordered this item, recieved only 4 of 5 lengths of wire. No response from the company. Fired the wire to cone 05 and the wire bent and ruined work (very lightweightand thin small hearts). Description states much higher temp tolerance than reality. Very disappointed.
