quality bar, wait for a good price
Good quality and weight. Too expensive, but I managed to grab it on sale for less than $20.It wasn't especially well packaged, the box was basically torn in two by the time it got to me, but the bar was undamaged, so it seems pretty durable.I am using the bar in combination with resistance bands. For certain lifts it helps to overcome the initial slackness of the bands, adding some load at the shortest bands lengths and thus tension to the full range of motion. It's heavier than a 60 in. Olympic barbell, and obviously shorter than a full-length bar. Also, it is very thick compared to a normal bar, which I like (I frequently use fat grips on thinner bars). That said, if you have the space and already have an Olympic bar in the garage, then I would just stick with that. This is convenient for me, living in an apartment without much space for equipment. This bar is great for adding a some load to a squat or lunge. As alluded to above, can add a little load to banded curls, rows, and presses. I need to find some other uses that are unique to this type of bar.I wouldn't pay $60 for it, but it was a bargain at less than $20.

Great product.
I hate going to the gym so I love these. You do not have to change out the ends and they have a thing you can hang on the wall to hold them.

Great exercise bar
I'm just getting back into weight lifting after a 12 year hiatus, and I've started with light dumbbells to eventually work up to heavy free weights. I came across this 20 lb bar while looking at exercise equipment on Amazon and decided to give it a try to start on my goal. Some people have reported their bars were packed in a box that was ripped open upon delivery, but mine was packed nicely in bubble wrap inside the factory box, and then inside an Amazon box with even more padding (thanks Everyone). I mention all of this because whoever delivered it either tossed it onto my concrete front porch or stood it up on one end and let it fall over. When it landed with a very loud THUD, I was afraid that it may have been damaged, but thankfully it was perfectly fine (and so was the porch). As for the bar itself, it's very solid and the ends are marked very clearly as to the weight of the bar. I don't have a scale to test if it's a true 20 lbs, but I can assure you that unless you're already in great shape, lifting a 4 foot long 20 lb bar will give you a good workout very quickly. I also like how thick it is (unlike traditional dumbbell handles) and the padding on the bar makes gripping it very easy, although I have large hands so it might be easier for me than others. For a person who has been using dumbbells for a while now, I also like how the weight of this bar is more evenly distributed when using it - there is almost zero chance of wobble or uneven movement like with traditional dumbbells, especially when doing curls or any overhead movement. There are plenty of videos on YouTube with workouts for these types of bars. I highly recommend this bar for exercise, regardless of your current skill level: It's compact, yet it gives great exercise, and you can stand them up in a corner if needed when you are done. I know that I will be getting more of them in the future and look forward to using all of them.

Perfect
Perfect for my 6 and 10yr old grandson's. The colors of them looks great. The padding on the ends of the bars are a nice touch. The bars are great for working out and building strength and muscle. The stand is an extra bonus which brings comfort to my daughter. She doesn't have to worry about the bars laying around or the boys getting hurtfrim them being on the floor.
