4 stars due to being stiff af
I had an old attwoods light holder that was made of a softer material, thus making it not cause my boat hull to flex trying to snap it into place. I had to add support for my aluminum hull so it doesn't flex that much. Overall does what it's designed to do!

Yes they are Rubber and they work great!
These are perfect! Yes they are a rubber material don’t listen to the reviews that say they are plastic they are not. No they don’t come with mounting hardware, but it would be stupid for them to ship with hardware when every costumer will have a different mounting application. For example I used through bolts and a lock nut for one location and screws for another. No the hardware will not pull through the rubber, whoever had that happen was using too small of a diameter screw/bolt. The key to mounting it since it is rubber is using hardware that almost seems too big but since it’s rubber you can force it down the tube on the one side and through the hole for a very snug fit since it does stretch. Simple effective product I’m glad I purchased these.

These are a stiff rubber/plastic. Hold a bit too securely.
They are identical in shape and size of my original light pole storage clips. However they are quite a bit stiffer. It is a challenge to remove and install the pole. The originals that came with my boat are more rubberized and easier to install and remove the pole. I replaced them because I was moving locations and I figured it was a good time to get some new ones.

Very secure fit
Easy to install with a snug fit. My boat lights haven’t fallen out yet, even when slamming through rough waters. These are worth getting as I always had my lights tossed in the bottom of my rod locker getting in the way. These clips kept the lights secure and out of the way of my rods and fishing line.
