Nine Piece Burgundy Oak Wood Desk Set

This is an amazing looking set. In general very well made and it is a fantastic price. The only problem is, one piece in the set came broken twice. I wound up having to glue it the second time because the set looks so great. It is a shame cause it is really well made otherwise at a great price.

The pieces looks beautiful when it arrives. But as you are taking it out of the box, both memo boxes fall apart into many pieces and cannot be repaired without it looking tacky. Great price, but not worth the discount. You won't be able to use it.

When I opened these desk sets, I was pleasantly surprised! They were packed well and beautiful. As I unwrapped them, some of the pieces started to fall apart, one after another!! It really shocked me because, for the most part, they were pretty high quality. My guy had some really good glue, so started to rebuild the broken ones. I am now using all the pieces on my two desks. I will be tossing out the desk pad though. It is cheaply made and curls up on the edges.

Nice color and idea, but about half of the pieces were broken in some way. Just poorly made. We would have returned it if it weren't such a big box that so was packaged so complicatedly.

You know the old adage about getting what you pay for? Well this proves it. It really does have a very nice appearance and I have received many compliments on many of the pieces.As many others have reported, the letter tray was broken. Apparently it was caused by either poor packaging, poor glue, or both. No problem fixing it with a little gorilla glue and a couple of clamps, but annoying none the less. The other issue is with the desk pad. It began to curl on the edges within a week. I'm just going to find a replacement and throw this one away.Even with the problems, it is still a nice looking and functional desk set for a really good price. Just order a bottle of glue at the same time you order this.

this stuff looks great!! ok yes!!! it comes in pieces be prepared. wood glue or the gell super glue works great. my office looks fantastic i wish i could post a picture. its worth it guys. i looked everywhere this is the best quality for anywhere close to the money.it was a little celebration gift for me making it to senior management, Regional VP walks by my office and say "how come his office looks better than mine?" i hope i dont get firedGreat gift idea. Fix it up first. Its really simple and the finish is not affected. dries and ready to go in an hour. had mine for 3 months looks as good as the day it arrived.

Over the last 10 years I have become a loyal and frequent customer of Amazon. Overwhelmingly I am more than satisfied with the service and quality of the products that I have purchased. Unfortunately, the Burgundy Oak Wood Nine Piece Desk Set was a grave disappointment. When I received the box I immediately opened the package and noticed that there were several loose pieces. As I uncovered the items I realized that the Desk Set was damaged beyond repair. I do not believe that the damage occurred during the shipping process. It is evident that it was placed in the box already damaged and reflects poor quality. Based on my experience I will NOT purchase another product from Majestic Goods. I do appreciate the fact that I was given a refund fairly quickly.

was exactly what I wanted - wish it would come with a staple & tape dispenser - nice quality and good looking set!
