These little butterflies are colorful and not only perform as expected but you can use them again and again. They are fun and a great surprise if you are giving a book to a friend as a gift, or sending a card that you'd like to make a little more special. They don't fly for very long but they are still fun and different. I am happy I purchased these.

These butterflies didn’t fly as high as I expected them to but I did manage to surprise my grands with them. Had to wind them at least 25 times and while they didn’t fly very high upward they did go a ways across the room. I had to do them over and over for them so it was worth it just to see them laugh and the looks on their faces.

I was very disappointed in the butterflies. They did not perform as I expected. They did not flutter out of the explosion box as expected. I would return them, but the return date has passed.

While these will not circle a room, they are delightful and a wonderful surprise in a card or package or inside a book. They can be used over and over again. Very worth having fun with….

I was really excited about this novelty item; I have grandchildren and wanted to put several of these butterflies in a box so that when they opened the box, they’d fly out, like in the videos.Well, the first one I tried flapped its wings once or twice then died, never unwinding the rubber band all of the way. I tried it several times, making it tighter each time, thinking that was the problem, but it wasn’t.I decided that, just to be sure, maybe I had a dud so I should try another one and see if it did any better; it didn’t. Neither did the five after that.I’ve come to the sad conclusion that, at least from this vendor, what you see isn’t what you’re going to get the results you’re hoping for, in my opinion.

I put a few in cards I mailed and in a gift box. They were a hit and used over & over to fly around the room!

Got these for my cats to play with. Wound up the rubber band and let fly. The flutter was brief, 1 or 2 seconds. I was able to get one to fly longer by bending the propeller blades to make them bite the air more and it flew for somewhat longer.
