Using a small dropper (included) simply apply a few drops of a favorite perfume or essential oil through a crack or hole, and the unglazed inside surface absorbs the perfume, exuding its aroma throughout the day. Including the lid, this bold, attractive steampunk-style Stinquepot is a sizable 4 1/4 inches (10.9 cm) long, including the bale and hanging loop it hangs down 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm), and has a 1 1/2 inch (3.8 cm) diameter. It is glossy, iridescent pearly pink-white with fine purple cracks. Decorative keyholes have been carved on the front and back of the piece, and a 3 1/8 inch (7.9 cm) decorative brass key hangs from a chain attached to the top of the vessel. Wire and small gold screws permanently secure the lid to the container.
