Q: How well does it handle silky fabrics such as flag cloth, satin and simular materials?

Sorry to say I havn't used it on those fabrics. Well worth the money.

Q: Does this work in the new husqvarna Brilliance model?

I do not know but it does work in my Pfaff Creative and they use a lot of the same equipment.

Q: Does this hoop come with an alignment grid plastic ruler?

No, it does not. However it does come with four paper adhesive centering rulers. It also comes with a magnetic safety shield for placing between the top and bottom of the frame when it's not in use. Hope that helps you out.

Q: This was working great but then tried it again and I keep getting an error message “attach correct hoop”. What’s wrong?

Are u sure u are telling machine correct size of magnetic hoop. Sometimes i get glitches and tirn machine off and start over
