This set can be used to sprout or pre-sprout almost any seed including: almonds, peanuts, alfalfa, clover, broccoli, radish, cabbage, kale, tatsoi, garlic, onion, fenugreek, buckwheat, quinoa, sesame, pumpkin, sunflower, grass, greens and micro-greens. How to use a sprouting kit This Kenley sprouting set contains everything you need to harvest your own food at home. The first step is to choose your seeds, nuts or beans and give them a good soak for 8-12 hours. After this, drain the sprouts and set the stainless steel screen sprouting lid in place. The stand will hold the jar in the perfect position to thoroughly drain the sprouts while encouraging ventilation. Rinse the sprouts (see instructions for details)once a day for 2-3 days. After this minimal effort, your harvest will be ready to eat! The set contains 3 mason style glass sprouting jars (0.6 quart size), 3 sprouting lids, 3 stands and 3 ceramic trays. All elements are food safe. The jars and lids are dishwasher safe. Dry stands and trays regularly to prolong their useful life. Avoid placing sprouts in direct sunlight or intense heat.

What a bummer...... had to adjust my first review....
Wow, what a disappointment.......I battled with me...spending seventy dollars for three mason jars....but then I went for it. I liked the clean look and the principal of how to use it. I have a modern/contemporary kitchen, very minimal, only the most necessary gadgets on the counter........I noticed right a way the lids are a bit tricky to close......so the first time I used it and started a new Glass to soak the seeds...carrying the Glass to the tray and Stand the Lid came right off, the glass felt to the floor [did not break ...luckily] and I had one cup wheat seeds, soaked in 2 cups water spilled all over my kitchen floor.......great.So I looked at it closer and came to find out.........THE LIDS DON'T CLOSE ........You can't hold the jar by the Lid.......Lid will come right off.....you can twist it and turn it however you wont.......will not hold.....really, really, really disappointing for this much money......I expected more. I am not going to return it because the Trays and Stands are doing their job........I will go to Walmart and by new jars and lids which will actually close..........End result........really cool look and design......Quality and handling sucks.Update........05-20-2020I was contacted by Customer Service from Smart Parts today......what an experience....5 Stars.......they apologized for the experience I had with their product and offered me immediately a refund without me returning the Product. I told them I really didn't want a refund I would like to have a functional product and they offered me to send another Kit as soon as they would have it back in stock....so this is when I opted for the Refund because all it is really is either the glasses or the Lids and as I said earlier I can get them sooner in a local store. The Refund I got within 10 Minutes and the whole transaction took only an hour. I have to say Kate from Smart Parts today Customer service handled this situation with the most professionalism there is.......I would give their customer service and communication skills 5 Stars.......

It worked great!
I tried sprouting for the first time ! And it worked great with broccoli sprouts! I think i put too much of the seeds, since the sprouts completely filled all three jars in about 4 days. I add them to salads and smoothies.I highly recommend the kit!

Very well made
Love these jars, the set up is very sturdy I was pleasantly surprised. I've sprouted in them several times with no rusting or drainage issues. The are sleek looking , fits in much nicer than some of the other sprouters I have seen. I will probably give these as gifts this year!

This is a great way to sprout large amounts at a time. the drain completely and reduce chance of over watering.

Listen, this set is an ELEGANT addition to my kitchen!! Absolutely love mine. Have mung beans in the jars right now, almost ready to eat.The square ceramic trays for each jar are nice and hefty, beautifully crafted. The metal holders are sturdy, nothing flimsy here. You won't regret this purchase!!! I sure dont. They will serve me well.
