Surprisingly good
Was a little leary buying this. However was pleasantly surprised. Easy to put together, fairly sturdy and bigger than I thought. Works perfect for my Cat and her kittens and will be great for the kittens as they get bigger!

The kittens LOVE IT
WARNING: While putting this together, follow the directions exactly, which includes SLOWLY zipping the bottom up over the support sticks. Before attempting to zip, go around and do your best to ensure the fabric is positioned exactly over the supports. It took us a couple of times, but we were extremely careful and went slowly. My 2 female cats were scheduled to be spayed on April 12th, 2020, but because of covid, our governor made the difficult, but necessary, decision to ban all non-emergency surgeries for both people and animals. The sisters went into heat at the same time, we thought we had secured the door to the laundry room, then opened the front door to get a large AMAZON delivery, and the next thing we know, out they go zooming by, across the street, jumped the neighbor's fence and disappeared. After 16 and 18 hours missing, the first one came sauntering up the sidewalk -- I was sitting on the porch lacing up my tennis shoes to cont. to look, because I was worried out of my mind. Not even a walk of shame !! She walked right by me and headed toward the breakfast bar. Suddenly I was cured of all that worrying I was doing. The other one made her appearance 2 hrs. later. They were both dirty, had fleas and six kittens in their tummies, each. We now have 12 kittens -- OMG -- plus the adults -- they will not be ready to go to their new forever homes until after Jan 1st. My son saw this on Amazon, and immediately ordered it. We just put it together tonight -- and already they love love love it. One of the adult cats was laying on the top, while a pile of little ones were snoozing away inside. They have their own baby blankets, so we put one of those on the bottom for a nice, soft cushion. One of them figured out how to use the "flap" door, and so he thinks he's cool -- the rest can't figure out how he's getting out -- but even when we completely opened the little door, they all stayed and fell right back to sleep. Plus, it's so convenient to house them all when I need to vacuum -- we have hardwood floors, which I damp mop everyday -- but even if we put them in a bedroom -- you open the door to put one more in, and the rest run out -- we love it --

Looks Cute, Poor Quality
The playpen is the perfect size for the kitten before introducing him to the house, but was so difficult to put together. It was going really well until the LAST wooden pole, which was at least 2 inches too long. After a lot of aggravation we ended up sawing 2 inches off and it fit. That unfortunately wasn’t the last of the problem - my kitten wasn’t in it for 5 minutes before the top zipper slid right off the track, and will not go back in. There NEEDS to be a stopper on the zipper, and a backup zipper. One zipper without an end just asks for disaster.Edit: they rectify the situation by sending a new one. I’m sure the construction will not change but at least I’ll have back up parts in case this one becomes unusable.

Disappointed
Thought we would love this for new Christmas kitten. On 3rd day of use, front zipper broke. There are two zippers, but before I could stop my 5 year old, 2nd zipper was off too. Now our kitten is trying to escape through the safety pins. All efforts to get the zipper back in place resulted in the zipper falling apart. Zipper is looped plastic. Very disappointing.

The Installation Video - Ease Of Assembly - FALSE
Once assembled, the Cage performed as advertised.Apart from recommending a different construction for which this review is not intended, the manufacture should be ashamed for implying assembly is as easy as they show.It is not.A trick that I should have used to allow the vinyl to be more easily stretched over the frame, but did not, was to assure that the vinyl cover had sat in a warm to even hot room for a day, but not in direct sunlight. An alternative would have been to use a hair dryer set on LOWEST/WARM and warn air CAREFULLY applied to the vinyl cover. In other words, don't even try to assemble this Cage in a cold room. It won't happen! As it was, I damaged the sewn seam at the end of the zipper where the encircling top cover was joined by sewing. Why?Because the stitches were NOT double stitched to reinforce the VERY weak part of the encircling cover. A warmed-up cover might have prevented that stitching tear. That tear also meant the zipper-runner ran off the interlocking teeth. Gorilla Tape fixed that so the zipped parts would not separate with use of the Cage. This is what happens when a good idea is marketed as easy to assemble when it is NOT, and to be too candid about assembly would mean that a buyer might turn to another similar cage.Caveat emptor! But, our cat likes it.
