I have sensitive oily skin and I find this mosturises it without leaving it feeling greasy, also works well under makeup.

A Sephora employee recommended a gel moisturizer for my combination skin, and this is the best one out of three I've tried. With lot of moisturizers that use squaline (the main active ingredient in this), you can tell they're seaweed derived -- they feel sort of sticky on the skin. This one goes on slippery-smooth and sinks in baby-soft. Also, the price may seem stiff for a tube this size, but a pea-sized amount is enough to do my entire face, so I've had my current tube for almost six months and I'll probably get another month or two out of it before I replace it, so I've concluded that it's totally worth it. The cheaper squaline moisturizers I tried feel like crap compared to this; I will not be going for the inexpensive ones again.The best thing about this moisturizer is that it actually DOES decrease the amount of oil my skin produces. Ever since I was a teenager it's been an inevitable fact of life that my forehead would be greasy by the end of the day. If I put this on after I wash my face, I don't have that greaseball feeling at all! My skin feels like SKIN! It's great!

I don’t love the gel quality of This product. I think it does the job and if you’re super oily, this might be your jam! I personally have combination skin with a super oily t-zone. When I use this, I don’t feel that it does a very good job at moisturizing my face as a whole. I paired this with the First Aid Beauty face wash and again, it felt like it wasn’t moisturizing enough for my combination skin. But I think if you’re oily, it’s worth the try!!

I went through about 5 different moisturizers looking for something that was cruelty free, unscented, oil free, and felt good. This checked all the boxes. It feels very light and refreshing when applied and provides enough moisture for my combination skin.
