I like to try new bath and body products. I don't have a ton, and I like to use up what I have before I buy more. I follow Bindi Irwin and watched an interview where she said she uses a coffee scrub by an Australian company. It sounded like a fun thing to try. As I live in the U.S., I went to Amazon to purchase a scrub by this company. This particular scrub does what it says it does. I gently scrub myself, I look a little red, and when I rinse it off, my skin is smooth and hydrated from the oils. I expected to smell a little more of the cacao, but all I smell is coffee, which is fine. It doesn't advertise that it smells like cacao. I tried it in the shower. I got myself wet, turned off all the water, and scrubbed. It is SO MESSY! Even after thoroughly rinsing out my shower, I still found coffee grounds. Next time I'm going to get wet and scrub it on while sitting down. Maybe that will contain some of the coffee grounds. Once this bag is gone, I think I'm going to try soap bar exfoliaters, instead ;). If you love the smell of coffee and a soft bod, this may be the product for you. I'm not sure if I'll be able to recycle the bag it came in where I live, which is something I should have checked into before I bought the bag. While I like the feel of my skin after I use the scrub, the time it takes to clean up the coffee grounds isn't a relaxing experience for me, so I won't be purchasing again :)

I really like this product. I bought this after having my daughter and I was hoping to reduce the appearance of my stretchmarks. I forgot to take a "before" picture but I can say that it is definitely working. They are less red and don't look as obvious to me. I use it as often as recommended and a little goes a long way. Some people mentioned the coffee grounds making a mess in their shower, it's true, they do get all over, I just keep a large coffee cup in the shower and rinse everything down. A little goes a long way and my skin feels great after the grounds are rinsed off! I even used it on my face one day when my skin was really dry and needed a little buffing. It does smell strongly like coffee, no added perfumey smells. Highly recommend.

Originally I liked the product. It made my skin feel wonderful just as the other reviews said. It’s messy but it’s not SUPER messy. It takes a little additional water drainage to get it to a presentable state and probably another day of residual water to completely get the coffee grinds out of the shower. It’s hard to determine how much you really need so you might grab more than you actually need and waste it all over the bathtub instead of putting on your body. I gave it three stars because each time after use I had a HUGE caffeine rush that made me nauseous. I’m not really a coffee drinker so initially I didn’t recognize the symptoms. After my third use I was extremely irritable and high strung. That’s when I realized the coffee scrub was not for me.

I've been using expensive topical scrubs for my keratosis and they don't even compare to this! Its so moisturizing and has the perfect amount of grit, I love the smell. But best off all the effects of this scrub last a long time. I use it once a week (compared to 2 or 3 times a week with other scrubs) and the smoothing effect lasts all week. It's transformed my arms and legs, and without AHAs and BHAs i'm not as sensitive to the sun. This product is a dream.Just fyi it leaves you coated in moisturizer so wash with soap first if your going to shave after using it.
