MindShift rotation180deg. Horizon 34L Backpack with Beltpack for DSLR Camera, Lenses, Flashes, 13" Laptop and 10" Tablet, Tahoe Blue

I wanted a pack that would hold my camera and lenses and make them acessible without taking off the pack. I have a Lowepro sling that works great but is a bit small and only allows for the camera with lens attached plus one more lens. This pack is pure genius. The camera compartment ( which swings around to allow access to your gear) held my camera with a 18-200 lens attached and had enough room for a 75-300 and 11-16 lenses. The pack had ample room for food, maps, first aid kit and everything else you would want to be on the trail all day. Not cheap but worth very penny.

This backpack holds everything that I need for a good long hike. Very well made. Zipper pulls make it easy to open the different compartments.

Ok. I have a few travel bags and messenger bags and everyone knows there is no perfect bag. But I used this bag as a travel bag on a flight and then used another ThinkTank product for my city travels. This review is strictly for the Sony A7 users, no offense intended. I was able to put a Sony 70-300 lens at the bottom of the bag that detaches. Then a 14mm Rokinon on one side and a Sony 55mm on the other. The camera had a 25mm lens attached to it and i could rest it in the bag and zip it up. This lens range is all I needed for a trip to Greece since I was only spending a weekend on Corfu..but I still had to get there and this is where this bag came in handy. I was able to pack a gorilla tripod, 2 cargo pants (convertible type), 3 shirts, 3 underwear, a rain jacket, socks Goal Zero solar panel and all my toiletries at the top of the bag. I stashed a pair of sandals in the side pocket. All my batteries, cables, additional cars were stored in the top pocket. I didn't need my iPad on this trip but could have easily slid it in the bag. I also hand carried a ThinkTank CityWalker bag on the plane with me. The only thing in it was a fleece jacket and my toiletries to quickly show the security personnel. This is the bag for you if you are Sony user since I could stash 4 lenses in the bottom portion of the bag. I hiked a few trails with the bag and the swivel motion of the bag is easy even though I thought it would be difficult. I basically stashed all the clothing in the hotel or rental car and did day trips to various locations. I normally use the CityWalker 10 but my shoulder starts to wear down after a few days. I have a MeFoto travel tripod as well, but I knew I wasn't going to be using it so I didn't bring it along but I had it in the same spot as the sandals on another trip. Is the backpack perfect? Well..its pretty damn close. a friend has the smaller version so I will test that out, but I'm not sure it can beat this bag...remember..this bad was really used as a carry on for a flight and it certainly worked its part. I have no problem answering any questions you have about my travels.

I ordered this blue color, but received a black color. Have to order it again, but a buddy of mine has it and this thing is very unique. Its neat that you could swing the fanny pack thing around your waist and change lens, camera, etc. Definitely a must have if you're an outdoors person.

Great backpack so far. First and foremost, the turning waist pouch is awesome, saves me a bunch of time when I want to switch lenses (and since I mostly use primes, that happens fairly often.)Pros:-The rotating waist pouch feature, saves time and effort.-Feels well-constructed, but lightweight for its size.-Good amount of "other" storage in the top-Water bottle storage on the sides, and water pouch storage in the back as well-Tripod holder built in-Personal preference, but I like the color.Cons:-I wish there were more small/tight pockets for things like memory cards, loose change, etc-For the price, I feel like the rain cover should have been included-Wish the rotating pouch were just a bit taller. My 70-200 is a tight enough fit that I usually don't bother (it will go in the top pouch if I take it)

I did not like this bag at all! There is not a lot of room for your camera gear at all, the rotation pouch is where the majority of your gear is suppose to go. The bag itself is heavy and I felt when I had the pouch rotated out to the front like I lost all the support on the bag and it just hung off my back uncomfortably. I was excited to try this bag as I thought it would be convenient but it was just not a good fit for myself. The bag itself is nicely made but I was looking for something that had a bit more storage and would be more supportive for all day hiking.

Gerade ist das Paket eingetroffen. Ich habe schon viele Taschen und Rucksäcke gehabt u d habe sie tlw. noch immer. Viele? Nein - sehr viele. Sehr viele? Nein - ungeheuer viele trifft es noch besser!Fazit vorab: Der Mindshift gear rotation ist EXAKT das was ICH gesucht habe! Natürlich entscheidet wie immer der genaue Verwendungszweck darüber ob ein Produkt gut, sehr gut oder eher weniger gut ist. Deswegen zuerst meine Anforderungen:- in erster Linie suchte ich einen Wanderrucksack in dem auch die kleine Fotoausrüstung bequem Platz hat- darüberhinaus sollte aber (und das hat KEIN anderer) ein schneller, problemloser Zugriff auf das Equipment möglich sein. Das umständliche Abnehmen des Rucksacks -womöglich noch an kritischer Stelle in den Bergen- nervt einfach nur u d führt dazu, dass man die Kamera zu wenig nutzt.- es sollte nur die kleine Ausrüstung Platz finden. (Bei längeren Wanderungen möchte ich möglichst wenig schleppen! (Bin deutlich Ü60)- an Wanderutensilien soll natürlich eine Flasche oder ein Trinksystem reinpassen, ein zweites Shirt, Regenjacke, Sonnenbrille, ein wenig Proviant u d. natürlich div. KleinkramAll das erfüllt der 34l Mindshift für mich perfekt.Ich nehme die X-Pro 3 mit nur zwei kleinen Objektiven (35/2.0 und 50/2.0) mit. Da ist dann in der Fototasche noch reichlich Platz für Akkus, Filter, Pinsel usw.Vorab hatte ich mir Videos über das Konzept angesehen u d war doch recht skeptisch, ob das raus- und nach vorne ziehen der Fototasche wirklich so einfach ist; ganz zu schweigen vom zurückschieben in den Rucksack. Und das alles ohne denselben abzunehmen. ES FUNKTIONIERT PERFEKT! Wer sich das ausgedacht hat, wusste was er tat und hat wahrscheinlich selbst öfters vor der gleichen Problematik gestanden. Dann das i-Tüpfelchen, dass die nach vor e geschobene Fototasche vom Körper weg aufgeklappt wird. Wirklich toll durchdacht.Der Rucksack selbst sitzt fantastisch bequem.Ja, ich gebe zu - die erste Tour hat er noch vor sich. Bisher nur Wozi-Test. Sollte ich im live Betrieb noch Besonderheiten (+ oder -) feststellen, werde ich diese nachtragen.

アイディア最高です。フィルタやその他の小物も素早く取り出せるので、とても便利です。腰ベルトの位置や形状が日本人向けではないかもしれないですね。雨に濡れると伸びが気になります。一泊小屋泊程度なら丁度良い大きさです。カメラでなくても重要な物だけは常にウエストバッグとして持ち歩ける便利さがよく分かりました。欠点は、ウエストバッグの天蓋が持ち上がるほど物が入っていると、出し入れがかなり悪くなるので気をつけましょう。

Wer kennt es nicht, man hat die Super Kamera und viele gute Objektive, aber zum Ausflug, wird nichts davon mitgenommen?Hier ist zumindest für mich nun die Lösung, der Mindshift Horizon, den schnappe ich mir, wenn es losgeht und meine Nikon D700 ist schon drin. Meist mit dem 28-105 AF-D und dem 35mm FX 1,8 G.Ich habe ihn in blau gekauft, so sehen die Kinder mich auch im Wald, der Innenraum ist groß genug für Tagestouren. Große Objektive passen nicht in die kleine Kameratasche, aber dafür ist er auch nicht entworfen. Für diese Zwecke habe ich den Lowe Protactic 450AW. Dort sind die extra Kameras und Teleobjektive und 2,8er Zooms drin. Auf Reisen bleibt der Lowe in der Basis und der Horizon macht die Ausflüge.Die beiden Rucksäcke ergänzen sich prima, da man die Ausrüstung im Urlaub komplett dabei hat. Als alleinigen Rucksacksack wäre der Horizon mir etwas zu wenig. Schnappschußtauglich ist er auch nicht, wenn eine Rast anliegt, da man einige Zeit braucht, die Kameratasche aus dem liegenden Rucksack zu holen. Also vorher die Kamera rausholen.Die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut, alle Details sitzen. Ich benutze ihn jetzt ein halbes Jahr im Wald, Gebirge oder Städtetouren und er hat sich bewährt. Das blau schaut immer noch wie neu aus. Für Stative gibt’s das Conection Kit, alles sehr durchdacht und praktikabel.Ja der Preis ist hoch, aber es ist ein Nischenprodukt ... Die Kameras sitzen heutzutage im Mobiltelefon, DSLRs oder große Spiegellose sind immer weniger gefragt, schön das dann endlich ein Fotorucksack kommt, der einem ermöglicht, die „Große“ immer dabeizuhaben.. ohne Nachzudenken.Deshalb 5 Sterne und Vorort hat man endlich nicht mehr das Gefühl... ach hätte ich die Kamera doch mitgenommen. :)

Habe lange und viel nach einem passendem Fotorucksack gesucht und bin schgließlich bei dem Mindshift Rotation gelandet. Zuerst vom Preis abgeschreckt habe ich mir viele Videos und Bewertungen angesehen.In einem schwachem Moment habe ich dann zugeschlagen.Erster Eindruck:Wow, sieht absolut genial aus. Bin 196cm groß und der Rucksack passt perfekt.Greift sich sehr wertig und qualitativ sehr gut an.Funktion:Die herausnehmbare Gürteltasche funktioniert wirklich gut.Hier hatte ich Anfangs meine Bedenken dass das wirklich so gut in der Praxis funktioniert wie in den ganzen Videos.Größe:Leichter Minuspunkt an dieser Stelle.Der Rucksack macht einen imposanten Eindruck (außen), allerdings spiegelt sich dieser im Innenraum nicht wieder.Erklärt ist es auch sehr schnell: die Gürteltasche benötige einfach sehr viel Platz im Inneren des Rucksackes wodurch dann der restliche Platz etwas beschränkt ist.Hier gilt es aufzupassen: nicht mit Wanderrucksäcken mit gleichen Außenabmessungen vergleichen, denn dann wird man schnell entäuscht.Es gibt noch einen Einsatz zum Nachkaufen um das Hauptfach ebenfalls als Fotofach nutzen zu können, dass finde ich sehr gut.Regenhülle habe ich mir auch gegönnt, aber zum Glück noch nicht benötigt!Wenn man sich der Platzverhältnisse bewusst ist, gibt es eine klare Kaufempfehlung, auch für diesen Preis.
