Good safe metal product much better than plastic

I only bought these to use in my coffee froth. Only a few of them came out nicely. The rest are just sort of a blob. I even tried the cocoa powder, to see if it was any better, and it was actually worse. Cinnamon worked better. The shaker is nice and I still like the stencils because there are a few that work. I’m wondering if the rest are made more for the cupcake business. Which I do not do. So all in all I was somewhat disappointed.

You may fancy making some pattern on your drink, but you either need to sprinkle LOTS of powder of your choice in order to fill the pattern the holes created, or you don't get the pattern at all. I realize that you need to hold it very very very close to the surface of your drink, risking touching the foam. Also, what about the rest of the powder? all the mess you left around the cup, and on the sheet is just not worth it. It's a waste of the powder. If you put too much in, you are actually affecting the taste of the drink. Are you willing to sacrifice the perfectly tasty beverage just for the look on top of the foam??

I received these about a week ago and I was so surprised - they are so much better quality than I was expecting (I really don't mean that as insulting as it sounds). These are excellent quality stencils - extremely clear cut designs - heavy weight - these are not your basic little stencils at all. Also, they come in a handy little storage box and with a wire "keyring" to keep them together. I am so pleased with my purchase. And customer service has been outstanding. I will be able to use these for years to come.

The idea of a coffee stencil is pretty straight forward. But keep in mind: Unlike stencil-ing on a piece of paper, coffee foam is all kinds of unevenness. As the result, the stencil completely doesn't work.Why doesn't it work? The details are wayy too fine. It's okay to use this stencil if you are drawing on paper, but when you sprinkle the chocolate powder or cinnamon powder, the fine details don't show up. The sharp little corners don't show up at all which renders the stencil useless.There are other stencils that are not as "detailed" but the end result is actually a lot better. I tried both, and found this set of stencils worse off.Stainless is a good idea. I like that. I give the materials a 4-star. But again, the problem is the product design concept. None of the stencil produced good result on coffee.Try it and you will know what I am talking about :)

I love that they are made from Steel that will last for many years. I used them on my desserts and on a dessert plate for that extra special WOW factor for my guests. A variety to choose from which is a plus, don't have to buy different sets. Very Happy.
