This Ogle Lizard Leash is a true classic among bearded dragon and other lizard pet owners. They are hand-made here in the U.S. by OgleRPets. The stylish look and practical design provides peace of mind when you take your lizard for an outing. Maybe you’re going to the park or just out in the yard. This leash is comfortable; but just in case your lizard gets startled and tries to take off, they won’t get too far. This way you’re not chasing across the yard, saying to yourself “who knew a lizard could be so fast!” Figure out the correct size leash to select using these guidelines for bearded dragons. FIRST, MEASURE your dragon from the tip of his nose to the tip of his tail: 1) Small size leash for 8” to 10” dragons. 2) Medium size leash for 12” to 15” dragons. 3) Large size leash for 16” plus sized dragons. 4) Extra-large size leash for dragons weighing 650 grams or larger. For other lizards or small animals, use these for comparison. SECONDLY, MEASURE your dragon’s girth (circumference) just behind his / her front legs (use a string and ruler): 1) Small size leash 1-1/2” to 3”. 2) Medium size leash 3-1/8” to 4-1/2”. 3) Large size leash 4-1/2” to 6-1/4”. 4) Extra-large size leash 6-3/8” to 9-1/4”. PUTTING THE LEASH ON YOUR LIZARD: 1) Push button on toggle and move it back to the knot in the cord. 2) Spread sides of harness out evenly. 3) Tug both sides of the cord back equally so that the opening between the harness and the leash cord is as “open” as possible. 4) Be sure that the “V-shape” part of the harness is under the lizard’s neck. 5) Slip over lizard’s head and guide their front legs into harness holes. 6) Gently tug cord until harness is snug. 7) Press button of toggle, moving it back down the cord until it secures the harness in place. Good Product, Sizing is weird.
These leashes are decently built with quality fabric from what I could tell. The drawstring is a little hinky and ancient, but it gets the job done in keeping the vest snug. The one problem I had with this leash is I had purchased the largest one. The beardie I had tried to use it on was easily as big as the one in the picture if not bigger. Sometimes I think he's the biggest I have ever seen. The biggest leash was too big for him, I figured the extra large could work handily on most monitors, but it is still too big for a bearded dragon of typical maximum size. I don't know if the pictures are mixed up or if that beardie is suffocating right now, but it is very clear that the leash was still too big. I went one size down to the large and it fit perfectly with a little breathing room. He doesn't immediately slip out of the leash now and seems natural and comfortable with the large one. Go with a large if you think your beardie is a completely plump and healthy adult.Other than the sizing issue the leash is serviceable and does the job.

It's funny. Fits her nicely and works well
I do not know what others say when they say their leash does not fit the lizard. You purchase according to your lizard size, always read the descriptions! My only complaint is that Mary my lizard tries to eat the leash. It's funny.Fits her nicely and works well.

but it isn't a great material for it's price
It fits, but it isn't a great material for it's price. Try making your own instead.

I've never gotten a more disappointing look from a lizard until I put him in this. Love it

Sizes are way off
Way too small for an animal of the size this leash is recommended for. Do not purchase based on what they recommend, go one size higher. nit even close to fitting.
