Good budget solar panel
This is a good solar panel for the price point ($16). I checked other solar panels, and for a similar wattage, they probably cost around $10 more on average. In order to get this to work, it needs to be in DIRECT sunlight. I've tried putting it in my car to charge my devices while I'm driving. What typically happens is I'll hit a lot of shade from trees, and so the power will go in and out. However, when I plug my iPhone 5s and place it in direct sunlight, like while sitting at a table, I got a good charge. I got around 12% charge in 15 minutes while letting the device charge outside. And I got another 12% in 20 minutes of it charging while using the device. Granted, though, I live in an area with a lot of sunshine (Southern California.) I bought this device for my trips to the beach, road trips, or even for when I go to a coffee shop and can't find any outlets to charge my device. Perhaps if you want to pay a bit more money, you can get a solar panel from another company that can charge well without being in direct sunlight. But for me, and for the price I paid, I enjoy the device.

Nice quality
I was very impressed by the initial quality of this 12w panel. I only paid $15, it was an amazing bargain.
