Fennel 250g

Good quality product. It is what it is.

Fennel is a constant presence in my diet, due to the way it can aid digestion and sooth gastrointestinal distress - it also tastes amazing and has a great crunch, making it a perfect ingredient for stirfrys.Unfortunately, Morrisons fennel is pretty hit n miss in terms of quality, as half the time it arrives partially, if not totally frozen, which ruins the structural integrity of the plant, causing it to quicky become mushy and rot. Where as a merely chilled fennel, that's not cut into (pull off the segments like you would with celery) can last up to a fortnight in the salad crisper drawer of the fridge.Several times now, I've recieved ruined fennel by way of being frozen, so have had to request it be refunded. I hope that's not a national issue and is just something local? I have messaged Morrisons regarding this (both via Amazon and directly via their website), however the freezing issue still happens to several salad products.It's also terrible that they insist on selling them in plastic film bags, creating unnecessary waste that can't be recycled.
