I bought 'minimally modest' . It is more white than pink, but sheer, as advertised. However, it is not very durable, even 2 coats chipped within 24 hours. But worst of all, it seemed to damage my nails, rather than protecting them. I usually have reasonably strong nails, but after using this for 2 weeks various nails have formed splits and the surface has flaked off them, making them weak - the opposite of what this product promises. I have never had this with any other nail polish. So I can only say that, for me at least, this polish does not deliver.

This is my third bottle of Treat Me Bright, and I had to hunt on Amazon for it because I couldn't find it in the usual places (pharmaceutical footwear and super pharmaceuticals >wink<). It really does a great job of strengthening nails, as you can see from the photo, which are my natural nails. I like Treat Me Bright because it makes your nails look whiter without having to do a French manicure, and it has a subtle sparkle which is really pretty. I usually put on two coats, then a coat of Seche Vite (which smells like a mechanics workshop, but is a truly brilliant protective top coat) and it will last all week without any issues. Then on Sundays, I take it all off, file my nails, sort my cuticles out, give 'em a good soaking with cuticle oil, and reapply for another week.

I love Essie nail polishes and use them all the time as I think the colours are great and the quality is good.I bought this because my nails started chipping along the top (sort of flaking). Reading the reviews I thought this would help. A month on and my nails haven’t improved. So disappointed in that respect.However, the colour is lovely and you can layer up to have a very subtle transparent effect or a full pastel cover. Still use it. Still like it. Just isn’t getting my nails better. 😞

I have terrible nails but as soon as I started using this product, which I saw reviewed in the Saturday Times Beauty reviews, my nails improved considerably. It may just be a coincidence but what I like about this product is that it not only protects the nails but looks lovely on. It has given my nails a natural sheen. Will definitely buy again.

Essie treat, love, colour are my go to at the moment. I've used one previously and it lasted nearly 2wks with no chips. Recently my nails have become very brittle, bendy and just fall apart at the ends so I've come back to Essie. I love the sheers and shimmers in the range as they give a more natural look and two coats is thick enough to protect my nails nicely. Cheaper than getting a manicure and better still my nails are slowly getting stronger.
