Nice playset; for ages 5+; and a note on the California cancer warning
(Wife): This is a review for the Gloria Accessories Utensil set. I may update this review later with pictures, if and when I'd get the chance.First, I'd like to address parental concerns:Age: The description has the recommended age slightly off: should be 5+, not over 3. But, I think that most of you realize how small these pieces are. What I would say is that you know your kids. Just keep in mind that the pieces are sometimes very small indeed -- and easy to lose if you're not careful. The California cancer warning: Our packaging contained a warning to read up on California Proposition 65. The website it listed was oehha.ca.gov/proposition, which is not a valid page. The packaging contained NO information on any chemicals used in this set, so the warning was basically useless. That said, Prop 65 relates to toxins leaching into water, if I read it right. So, it is not necessarily about chemicals that would be problematic to the touch or inhaled. Now, I personally did not notice any substantial toxic smell from the plastic, and I did sniff them, and I am usually somewhat sensitive to that type of stuff. (That said, we do have a little bit of a bronchial infection at the moment; but my nose is not that stuffed up. So, take this as you wish. I may update this review later.)Now, packaging complaints: Ours came in the sealed Gloria Accessories cardboard / hard plastic packaging. No loose items in our case. Now for the items themselves: They look like they are reasonable quality, and they look rather pretty. As I've said, I have not noticed a toxic smell from them at this time. The larger serving utensils fit in the hands of our Barbie Made to Move dolls. One thing to note: There is a serving lid that comes in two pieces that need to be attached. Once attached, they take a little patience / skill to separate again. This may frustrate younger kids. It did frustrate our daughter, although I was also able to use it as a little bit of a teachable moment. So, it's not all that bad. And, you can always just remove that particular item, because it's not really all that necessary, anyway. The tops to the pans do snap into place, but you have to align them just right and use a little bit of a firm hand to do so.For doll food, we are using Play-Doh. Our daughter put a bit of Play-Doh in everything, even a wine glass. Our daughter was able to recognize right away that the spoons, forks, and knives were miniatures of our own. To show me, she got one of each of our real ones out, and put the doll ones on top of them. She seemed to think it was neat that the dolls now had their own set of utensils. Conclusion: I'm not terribly concerned about the alleged cancer concern (or lack thereof). The small part / choking hazard is probably a more serious concern for younger kids. Other than that, I think this is a pretty nice playset for a doll picnic or wedding.

Some accessories are poorly made
The spatula and the pots and pans are poorly made... If you are buying these for barbie dolls the items are too big.

Nice dishware for dolls!
I bought these to use with Barbie and other 1/6 sale dolls. They are a nice alternative to the typical type of dishes that usually are made for fashion dolls. The glasses are nicely detailed and a decent size. No complaints about the dishes and silverware either. It would have been nice if the pots weren't the obligatory pink but I can paint them and most likely won't be using them much anyway. I really wanted the glasses...its hard to find clear ones at this scale...very pleased with those. It came with all the pieces described in the listing. 4 each of plates, bowls, forks, spoons, knives, goblet and champagne glasses. 1 small tray, 3 pots with lids and 3 serving utensils. Pictures included show some of the items with a Ken doll.

good value
This was inexpensive compared to similar items. There are several pieces in this set. My grand daughter loves it.

This is one of the best things I have ever bought in Amazon for the ...
This is one of the best things I have ever bought in Amazon for the last several years. My daughter is 2.5 years old, and has a Madeline Eden dollhouse, and I bought this for her (in truth, more for myself, than for her - because I never had such delightful little things when we were growing up - no internet and definitely no such curiosities available at the miracle of a click)The pink utensils look like doll's plastic utensils, not great. But you can spray paint of you are a hobbyist. The plates and soup bowls are similar. But the wine glasses and flatware surpass imagination. There are 4 red wine glasses, 4 white wine flutes, 4 forks, 4 knives, and get this - 4 SOUP SPOONS AND 4 DINNER SPOONS !!!Cannot tell you how thrilled we all were. After my daughter fell asleep, I played with them for a long while, and then decided to write a review.I am thinking of buying another as a replacement, since it is affordable, because the flatware are tiny and will get misplaced in a day or two...Lovely, lovely ....
