Police Academy? Good for training!
If you’re looking to wear BDU’s for personal leisure, utility, or sport like fishing or hunting, look at 5.11 brand. I would recommend 5.11 hands down any day of the week. They are way more comfortable, better cut and more durable.Anyways, I purchased 3 pairs of these at the start of June for someone I know very well for their Police Academy training. They needed these pants for their defensive tactics training. At sub $30 a pair, these would be great for the obviously rigorous training. This training has truly put these pants through their paces. Every class consists of taking countless falls, agile movement, and most importantly lots and lots of kneeling and sweating. At first, the pants were a little tight, but after a little breaking in they loosened slightly and became marginally easier to move in. The one true complaint I have about these BDU’s is how tight and unbudging they are around the legs. Especially around the quads. When sitting, these pants are very tight around the legs. This tightness shows especially so after sweating. If you sweat slightly in these pants and you have wide legs, your range of motion bending your legs will be hampered. I’ve had a few occasions where I nearly tripped ascending stairs because these pants were a little sweaty and grabbed my legs. One of the exercises we performed consisted of the trainee falling directly down and out backward. This move deemed a little too stressful for the inseam stitch on one of the pant legs and the stitch failed dramatically. Mind you I was aware the stitch was failing days ahead of time, but was not concerned because I bought these pants at a cheap price with the idea that I would only be using them for training. It tore from about the middle of my upper leg to about the sock line. Thankfully I had remembered that morning that I was a Police Officer Trainee and not a commando.Tight pants and sweaty legs aside, I do want to highlight just how great of a value these are. If you work in lawn care or just need a cheap pair of utilitarian pants, these are just the pants for you. If you are entering a Police Academy and need BDU’s, these are perfect for training. Although definitely replace these with a quality pair of BDU’s once you hit the streets. I would recommend 5.11 brand.

Light cool pants
These pants / trousers are really comfortable. They are cool, making them perfect in the summer. The fabric is light but strong. The construction is quality.

Light weight, well made except for zippers.
Great Light weight pants for police work in the hot 100f + South Carolina summers with 100% humidity. All was well. Until the zippers started busting. I actually lost, not gained weight cut the zippers out and sewed velcro in, but I shouldn't have had to.

I really like these pants but the pocket are WAY too small.
Really nice pants, good rise, nice flexible band. The pockets *not the cargo pockets*, are too small. They're so small if you put something in them it easily falls out when you sit down or if you pull anything out its so small it ends up turning the pocket inside out.

DO NOT GET THESE ! ! !
Horrible product. Cheap material. Inferior zipper that I’m sure will take two days to break. No shape to these pants. Not enough pockets AND tiny cheap pockets not worthy of being correlated to the title “cargo pants”. DOES NOT look like the picture AT ALL. If these were my work pants from my boss, I’d be offended. DO NOT get these 😒

Lightweight and tough
I love these work pants. My only issue, I have doorknob knee caps so they catch the seem when I bend down or climb, my solution will be to wear long underwear and start lifting weights. Love the pockets!

To long
My husband ordered the 34/30 size which is what he always buys and these fit great on waist but are longer than a 30 will keep them and have them hemmed. Good quality nice pants just a little long for a 30 inch inseam.

Sizing is small
The pants look nice, have plenty of pockets and appear to be decent quality. However, the material was not as light and definitely was not stretchy like one would expect from tactical pants and the sizing is smaller than typical. I usually wear a 34x32 pant and these were tight in the waist, the crotch and the thighs. I haven't yet decided if I will replace them with a larger pair, might just keep looking for another brand that fits properly.
