These wildly flashy earrings feature beautifully colored Labradorite, teardrop gemstones. Hanging from a tiny, abstract floral sculpted piece, they have wonderful movement. These earring measure approximately 2-inches from the piercing. The wire used is pure copper with copper-plated, brass earnuts. These earrings ship within 24-hours of order receipt. The metal used in this piece is pure COPPER. This copper has been oxidized to give it the appearance of aging. This process is not an exact science. The precise color of your piece may vary from the images above. It is also worth noting, copper WILL turn your skin green if worn for prolonged periods and more so with areas of high humidity. Looking like Kermit in spots can be prevented by not wearing your copper jewelry everyday (or, at-least, no in the exact same area of the body,) avoiding wearing your jewelry when you will be exposed to a lot of moisture, and simply taking the jewelry off and giving your skin a chance to breathe. Avoiding moisture will also help slow further aging of your piece (oxygen and moisture are what give copper that fun, green patina after time!) You can also help keep your piece looking nice by storing it in a airtight container or bag when not in use. You may also clean your piece with mild dish soap and water. If needed, a soft toothbrush can be used to get in the nooks and crannies. I also recommend re-applying a museum wax coating every so often to help keep the piece protected.
