Almost perfect!
I bought this grinder in particular because it does a Turkish grind. It's quiet, looks good, works well and is easy to clean. My only issue is with the lid on the ground coffee bin... it is dufficult to screw on properly. It would be nice to add portsfilter dosing for espresso machines as well as an anti-static coffee bin.

Smooth even grind, best cup of coffee I have ever had.
After having an ok grinder for a few years a Mr coffee disk-burr grinder it was cheap but did the trick for 4 years I figure it was 35 bucks I got my money's worth. So as usual when kitchen gadgets die I usually upgrade. I have been doing research on coffee and I have read over and over a smooth uniform grind is a way to get an incredible cup of coffee. ( I was not getting this with the Mr. Coffee grinder). With the Mr coffee grinder I got a lot of dust, and odd granules of coffee at any grind, the coarse setting was like shattered beans with a ton of odd sized pieces. The medium grind was like corse rock salt, the Mr coffee could not make fine enough coffee for espresso or any other use for fine ground coffee (cooking). So I looked at reviews on many sites and found I really liked what I saw and read with the Ariete -Delonghi Electric Coffee Grinder So I placed my order it arrived in 2 days as promised. I had some really great beans from Tunnel City coffee a local small batch roaster. So I tested the Ariete -Delonghi Electric Coffee Grinder and was shocked at the consistency of the grind. On its finest setting, the grinds are like fine baby powder on the coarsest setting its like rough Kosher salt. This is immensely different compared to the Mr Coffee Grinder which was always too coarse on any setting. So I made a small 1 cup French Press pot first with a setting of 16 the max setting coarsest. Brewed the coffee for 6 min and was so impressed that I got all these flavors and subtleties I could usually not taste or smell in this brand of coffee. I added some milk and sugar and it was so smooth I had not had coffee this good since I stayed in 4-star hotel Greenbriar West Virginia as a kid 35 years ago. Next, I took out my Aero Press. The ground on 10 a bit finer than medium grind knowing the Aero press likes finer coffee since the brew time is drastically shorter 1min. Made this coffee and literally, I have finally drank the best cup of coffee I have drank in my entire life on my second try with this new grinder. Both cups of coffee on the bottom of the cups had literally maybe a pinch of sediment from the coffee brew and grind a sign of a consistent uniform grind. I am blown away at what a conical burr grinder can do. This Ariete -Delonghi Electric Coffee Grinder If you are on the fence on what to buy is a steal. I worked as a barista and we had a 700 dollar commercial grinder and this 100.00 grinder makes better coffee than the expensive commercial grinder does. Literally with a french press and an Aero press two incredible cups of coffee. This goes to show me that in fact when you put great beans, dialed in brew times and smooth consistent grind together you can have an incredible cup of coffee any time. Now to dial things in like science and really strive for the perfect cup of coffee. Buy this grinder it is an amazing buy at 100.00 dollars. You won't be disappointed. Now I can finally cook with coffee grinds the finest setting is so fine its like coarse dust. Perfect for sneaking coffee flavor into recipes like brownies, cookies, stews, and other things. It's small, really quiet, not big at all fits on my counter nicely, and is really clean compared to the last grinder. Its mostly plastic but does not feel cheap. The grinder comes out easily for cleaning occasionally and you can take the hopper off for cleaning or switching beans (I wonder if I can get another hopper and switch beans any time from dark roast to light roast ) that would be great! Then store the beans in the hopper in the freezer. The instruction manual is nice and simple easy to understand as well. Buy this Grinder you won't be disappointed at all. On my second try literally the best cup of coffee I have ever had and I'm not dialed in yet with this new grinder!

Buen producto
Molienda adecuada para espresso, el receptor se puede quitar para recibir directo al porta filtro. Retiene aproximadamente 1 gr de cafe molido por lo que hay que darle unos golpes al final para que lo suelte

still not sure
Just got this yesterday and it is beautiful on my counter. It is NOT noisy like some, with an annoying high pitched grind, it's more of a low or dull noise. The manual isn't very helpful. You have pictures of beans which I guess refers to Categories of grind, and on the side, a dial that goes from 1-15 with clicks in between. Not sure which on either is coarse grind. So have been playing around with some expensive beans and finding that it's too fine. That said, I drink French Press or Pour over which require a coarser grind, and not sure if this machine can deliver that. I used one in the FP and ended up with a LOT of silt in the bottom, which means it was ground too fine. Got to go to work and no more time to play :( When it grinds, theres no static or jumping of grounds...yay...really presents and feels like a quality product and I would hate to send it back. I will speak with the tech dept on Monday and see if they could lend some insight, don't want to waste any more beans. So far, seems like this machine lends to finer and ultra fine grinds, so if you're into Drip, Turkish, or Espresso, would be the bomb, will update again.UPDATE: 4 days later I sent it back, it makes me sad because I really liked the style, it was pretty quiet for what it does, it ground my beans quickly with no mess, no static, but I really purchased this for Pour Over and French Press, both which need a chunkier grind than this was providing. I used up a lot of premium beans trying to figure out how to run this thing, manual is useless mostly. When I put the side dial on 15....the biggest grind, it still left a LOT of sludge in the bottom of my cup, which says that theres still too much fine grind mixed in. My son has a little blade grinder and when he made me some FP, I had NO silt, NONE!! By reading reviews, the up front dial with pictures of beans is just a timing thing, the ground size is on the side, '1' being the finest grind, and '15' the coarsest. I think it's a great grinder for the price, but it depends on what kind of coffee you drink. For drip, it would give you a lot of choices, sadly, the hunt goes on for me....oh boy. Let me say, when I called Amazon about this, they were AMAZING, customer service 2nd to none, sent me an email to scan code with my phone, took to UPS, they scanned it and I was done in 30 min, THANKS AMAZON. Just saying, I never send things back, but this was seamless.
