I’m very pleased with my purchase, and value for money.

We ordered 2 worktops for an office/bar 40mm x 960mm x 2000mm long and one 3000mm.The "Quality" of the wood Blew us away. all your highstreet DIY stores could not match Quality Prices and Free Polite Delivery, no questions asked they just placed it in my home where I wanted Themthe "Wood" I had to buy new Jigsaw blades well-constrcted work topsYou won't be disappointed with the price and quality !!! FACT !!!

Have used the 2m version as an office desk. Delivery was good and they customised as requested, I asked for a custom width and for them to send me the offcut. There are some small marks on the surface which didn't matter to me as looks great, if that is particularly important I would specify that to the seller as they seem very well organised.

I used this beech wood counter top as a desk and its pretty good quality. Other than a couple of glue/filler patches on one side and along one edge the rest is perfect. I would say though, if i was unlucky enough to receive a piece that had the glue on both sides then I would have been pissed. Luckily, the patches are just on one side and can be hidden on the bottom. Its just one patch on the side which is a shame. Delivery was fast too.To clarify, I bought this counter top as its was £100 cheaper than the Walnut version. I then stained and treated the counter top to look like walnut, probably saving me about £80. Worth it to save the money, but it did take a lot of time and effort to do. It stains evenly too, if you know what your doing.

Used this for extending my Office desk. Brought the 1500mm x 620mm x 40mm pre oiled.It arrived in about a week which was great and the chap with a van brought it inside for us.Unfortunately when we had a closer look along the edges it had a large dent which was about the same thickness of the wood and a few smaller ones as well which dont really get picked up in the light, so i guess one of the other ones desktops fell on into it along the way.Also some of the corners had small bits which had chipped away.Not the end of the world for what i need it for. But i can imagine when your using it for a Kitchen unit it could be really annoying to sort out.Aside that, the Wood quality is great. I got the pre oiling and its very generous, The wood comes a little damp so i just left it out for a day or 2 and it soaked it all up and dried out.The oil also changed the colour of the wood into a darker more oaky colour, instead of the bright beach colour you might of been expecting (a huge plus for me).All in all id say go for it.But i would be careful and check out the wood when it arrives so you can jump on it asap.

Purchased this worktop to use as a desktop for my stand up desk frame (if you're doing the same make sure you get one that can lift 80kg +, as this weighs in just under 45kg), product was delivered before the due date and kindly lifted into my house where I required it by there own delivery drivers.The only reason I didn't give the worktop 5 stars is that there are a few pieces of the wood filled in, which really became apparent after oiling the wood with danish oil. Not a problem at all as I'm using a desk, but would be a little annoyed if I Purchased for a kitchen counter,Lovel bit of wood though!

It's not the greatest quality to be honest; there's a few chips round the edge and the finish isn't particularly good on the facing. Really it needed sanding and oiling because it arrived quite rough, but that being said, given that I couldn't be bothered to finish it off myself and just left it as is, it's obviously not a deal breaker. If I ordered again, I'd probably avoid paying extra for the oil because you'd never be able to tell it was treated at all.It's disappointing because I was expecting a smoother and all around better finish, but it's not the end of the world. Eventually I might get round to sanding it and finishing it properly, but I've been sat at it for half a day now and I'm mostly happy. 1500x740x40 is a really good size for a large, solid desk.
