NPC #900 Solar Seal Adhesive Sealant, White (Pack of 3)

I called the manufacturer just to make sure it can be used on PVC window trim and can be painted. I mainly needed it for filling nail holes in the the trim and filling the seams and mitered cuts so when I paint the trim you wont see any seams or nail holes.Once this stuff dries you cannot sand it even with fine sandpaper to feather the edge. I found two drawbacks. When I filled the nail holes I had to go back a second time because the sealant shrunk just a short time later when drying.When filling the seams and mitered cuts it was still difficult to feather the edges even when using paint thinner.To get it feathered properly If I didn't get it right the first time it would start to dry so fast it made it difficult to work with.This stuff starts to dry in a matter of seconds.When filling the seams I could only do about 18" at a time because of the fact it dries so fast.The weather was in the right temperature range. However I found best to work with when no sun is shining on the area you are working with. Have not painted the trim yet. Plan on doing it by the end of this week. Will get back after I have painted the trim and see how this sealant holds up. I would recommend this product but you need to practice on scrap material to get used to applying it properly.

This is simply the best exterior caulk on the market. It is worth every extra penny you will pay if you care about quality. I used this on the exterior of my house when I replaced all the clapboard siding and trim (all Azek). It's been over 6 years now since the job was completed, and the caulk looks identical to the day I installed it; no shrinking, no cracking, no fading.All this said, the product is not fun to work with. I need to wear a respirator during application (the smell is overpowering and can cause headaches). You need to use mineral spirits during application and for cleanup. The caulk is highly viscous making it difficult to apply and fix mistakes. If you can live with these shortcomings, the results will be well worth the effort.

Am a firm believer in this product. Great sealer, just make sure to use it all at once as this does have a shelf life.

I have used NPC caulking for several years. I first found out about it when I had my house sided. It comes in many colors to match siding and trim and last longer than any other caulking I have ever used. I highly recommend NPC caulking.

This product goes on easy and sticks easily to everything. I just finished re-sealing an aluminum panel roof.Only time will tell how well it holds up to the weather.

That nasty stuff works better then other silicone, hard to work with because it wouldn’t come off not your hands, not the surface. For that reason need only to apply it once. 100% water and mold proof.

Your product solar seal #900 was recommended to us by the contractor that built our solar room. He said that in case we have a problem with our solar room like water leaking into the room or draft around the windows we can use the solar seal #900 to prevent the water or draft from entering the room. That is why we bought the product from you. Ever since my husband always use solar seal #900 in sealing our windows etc and he finds it very useful and live with the name solar seal.
