I made (2) Doggie ramps for my little dog that had trouble going thru the doggie door. One ramp going outside and the other to go inside. This mini circular saw, made it soo easy. I first drew and measured out of cardboard the size I needed. I then took my template and copied it on my pressed wood. I used my new mini saw, and cut it out. then assembled it, and finished the out ramp with outdoor carpet. I finished the inside ramp with indoor carpet. I am 74 a woman, and very pleased at what I done. If I can do it, I bet you can to. This mini saw is simply great. I highly recommend it. A+A+A+A+A+A+

Agree with the other reviews. I am a noobie in woodcutting, and was looking for something lightweight, when this tool caught my attention. I began by trying it on a wooden bed that I wanted to cut and put up for scraps. It did the job, and I could get it to cut as small as was needed to fill in our trash can. I then tried cutting a steel board (also for scraps), and it worked smoothly on steel as well. It came with lots of blades, a mix of metal, work and for tile. Appreciated this. Also, being a circular saw user, the feel of this saw felt different ...but I soon started enjoying the flexibility this provided. I already think I got my value for money. Recommended, especially for someone looking for a lightweight tool.

I really liked the saw. My fiancé and I are new to the power tools world and have been wanting to get a circular saw for a while. We thought this was an interesting one because of the handle but we’re hesitant thinking it was going to be too heavy. We end end up getting it because of the great price and not only it was delivered the next day but it has surpassed all expectations. It’s a great size and weight, super easy to set up and use and it makes power tools not feel so scary. For the price the package is super complete, it has replacement blades and some guides and guard. The tool itself has a great power and accuracy when cutting. It has made our DIY projects so much easier and fun. We actually liked the brand so much we just got a dremel (multi tool).I attached some photos for reference in terms of packaging and size.

This circular saw is a great addition to my tool box. It is fairly priced and includes 6 blades. The handle is metal and very good quality. It is durable and should last really well with all the projects I have lined up. Since it is with a cord, I do not have to worry about keeping a battery charged or anything like that. It is easy to use and safe.

We have previously purchased a Tacklife oscillating tool. We were very happy with it and decided to go with Tacklife again for the mini circular saw, and Tacklife has delivered again. My partner has used it to cut several 2 by 4s as well as trim the legs of a table. He said this was one of the best saws he’s ever used, much much easier to use than the big clunky saw he used previously. He couldn’t believe this little saw pack such a big punch. We will be looking for other Tacklife products if we need other tools.

So far this is the saw I reach for when working on wood products.notching boards is a breeze.3500 rpm is plenty of power and hasn't slowed down once.Laser is nice but rarely use it. Accurate straight out of the box.It has Metal, Wood and plastic cutting blades. Only used the wood blade so far. (Fantastic!)Depth adjustment easy to do.My one pet peeve is that stupid placement of the unlock button.One has to be a contortionist to activate that and the on switch.Small screw jammed in there fixed that little headache.I always wait for the blade to stop before setting it down.And ALWAYS make sure the on switch is not activated until I know it is safe to do so.

Wonderful circular saw. Marvelous ergonomic design. Super product at a super price. I own numerous 8-inch hand circular saw. I have it for almost a month and it’s working great. They are perfect for framing and heavy jobs but too big for detail work. The Tacklife 4-1/2 inch is perfect for tight detail work. Buy it you will love it. Tacklife tools are an amazing value. I would recommend it. It worth every penny.

OK, I know little to nothing about circular saws except that I don't have a work bench big enough for a full-sized circular saw. This is a more practical size for my experience, intentions, and work space. As I get more familiar with it I may give it a higher rating. However, the manual that is included is not much bigger than a credit card and the print is microscopic! I have tried to read it with a magnifying glass and even that isn't sufficient. Also, the illustrations don't seem to relate to the text in some cases. I will have to YouTube how to use and maintain it. Otherwise, it looks and feels like a decent tool. I have only used it on a couple narrow pieces of wood so far, so the laser guide isn't much use as it beams past the material I'm cutting. I plan to use it to rehab my tool shed later and then can re-evaluate my assessment of it.
