Bear Edge Money Clip Lockback, Steel, 2 3/4", 61524

The Amazon description stated "proudly built in the USA" but, as shown in my pics, the box clearly shows "Made in China". I went to the Bear & Son website for clarification and it read "Origin: Import" so I believe the box.This knife is VERY thin as you can see in the pic comparing it to my Kershaw Leek which is one of my thinner knives. I'm not sure it would be ideal as a money clip as the clip is not "deep carry" so the end of the knife sticks out a bit. The spine jimping and contoured & chamfered 2.5 finger handle offer reasonable comfort and purchase for such a thin, small knife. The blade action is a little stiff and includes a half stop. The lock action is very stiff out of the box. I hope both improve after lubrication and break-in.I am not against buying Chinese products. I own Kizer, Civivi, and Artisan Cutlery knives. But I purchased this 2.75" knife because I wanted to check out a Bear & Son USA-made knife. I think I'll keep it and try to improve the action as I still see a place for a knife this thin and light.

Pay to much for what i call a baby knife

This knife is made in China. It says country of origin is the US but that is a lie. Unlike other Bear and Son Products this knife was outsourced for a dollar or two and the seller is making a tidy profit by false advertisement.
