Q: Have you heard of Fuller's Earth Clay, being used as a hair straightener.

No i have not heard that before

Q: How would you clean this up when sprinkled on wood or fabric like fake dust? It seems to spread.

I used the product for an oil stain on table, I let it sit overnight and then just brushed it off no problem with removing it on fabric you might want to use a vacuum

Q: How finely milled is this? Is it pretty gritty or does it feel like soft powder? I'm hoping this will make a good detoxifying face mask.

It's a soft powder. But it you mix it with a little water it makes a great mask. I suggest a very small amount of water though or you'll be waiting 30 minutes for it to dry! Enjoy!
