B&P Lamp6 1/2 Inch Clear Glass Colonial Style Lamp Shade for Sconces and other Lighting Fixtures

Got this for an early-70s chandelier. It’a not an exact replica of the original glass (new one is on the left in the picture, about the same height but slightly smaller in diameter), but barely noticeable if you’re not looking for it. I like that this one is made of slightly thicker glass than the original, so hopefully it won’t shatter in my hands while cleaning it like the paper-thin one it replaces did!

I accidentally broke on of the original lampshades in my contractor-grade dining room chandelier. Ideally, I should have replaced the fixture years ago, but didn't. Because the lampshades balance out the fixture to allow it to hang level, this replacement is not as thick as the originals and weights 80g less. So, even though it fits and the fixture looks complete, it's still unbalanced.

This is the exact shape as the original globes for Williamsburg light fixtures, just slightly smaller in width.I think added to my fixture of 5 globes that no one will notice.I have found them cheaper elsewhere, so it pays to shop around. The item was packed well and arrived on time.

We purchased these to replace some old wall sconces, and I was hoping to be able to etch the glass with a design. It is a good product and they arrived in one piece and well packaged. However, the glass does NOT etch. I would still recommend the product assuming you do not want to etch the glass.
