I've had several kinds of these over the years, and most of them do what you'd expect to one degree or another. I read a lot before buying this one, since my new fridge has everything but water dispenser and I am a fanatic about filtered water. I chose this one because reviewers and literature said it filters out a few more grungies from tap water. I didn't care much about lights, and meters, and so on. However, having had this for a couple of months, I really appreciate the way it meters how much water you have used. It's nice to plan ahead for replacement filters.Plus side:Very attractive unit does not look odd on faucet.Easy to operateMindlessly easy to install on most faucets. Mostly plug and playCan rotate it out of the wayWater taste is outstanding and there is nothing floating in the glass!!!Contrary to some reviews, the meter is working fine. It turns on when I turn on the filtered water, and shuts itself odd after about 25 seconds to save batteries. I want to see the useage, not analyze it, so a quick look is fine.Price is competitiveCons:The flow rate on the filtered side is very, very slow. I suspect that's due to running through the filter fabric. But I wonder if they could improve that?Overall: I'll stick with this brand until they decide to change it and they mess it up.

We are into a quarter of the life of the first filter. Upon installation I had to reinsert the filter 3-4 times to get the display working but since then there has been no problems with it. Water tastes good. It is easy turn the knob unlike on the Britta. There has been no leakage so I am happy with it.
